－What You Can Expect－

Feel on top of the world at the summit of Mount Pilatus, with this fascinating half-day guided tour to one of the most famous peaks in the Alps.

Begin your tour at Kriens, the picture-postcard alpine village nestling at the foot of Mount Pilatus. Take the panoramic gondolas and aerial cableway to reach the top, which is more than 2,000m above sea level. Enjoy the spectacular view over the surrounding mountains and lakes, stop for a bite to eat or hike to the summit.

The descent involves another adventure as you board the world's steepest rack railway (48% gradient) to reach the lakeside hamlet of Alpnachstad, from where we’ll board a ferry for a scenic one-hour lake cruise back to Lucerne.

・Free admission for children under age 6, passport is required for age verification, please notify the number of children in your party in the 'Notes' section when booking
・Tours departing during October 21 - November 8, 2019 will not return from Mount Pilatus by 1-hr Lake Lucerne cruise, but will return by cogwheel train. Meal vouchers of Fr. 20 for adults and Fr. 10 for children will be passed out instead and can be used at restaurants in Mount Pilatus cable car station
・Tours departing November 9 - 17, 2019 will depart for Mount Pilatus by cable car and will return by cogwheel train, 1-hr Lake Lucerne cruise will not be included. Meal vouchers of Fr. 20 for adults and Fr. 10 for children will be passed out instead and can be used at restaurants in Mount Pilatus cable car station
