I visited the National Museum of Indonesia (Museum Nasional) one morning and was genuinely impressed by its scale and cultural depth. The main building features classic Western colonial architecture, while inside, you'll find thousands of artifacts spanning from prehistoric times and Hindu-Buddhist kingdoms to the diverse cultures of islands like Java, Kalimantan, and Papua. The highlight for me was the Hindu stone sculpture section, showcasing statues over a thousand years old, along with ancient archaeological relics excavated across Indonesia. Allocate at least 2–3 hours if you want to explore the entire museum.

A museum that's very different from the old ones. Now you can take your kids to see historical statues, not just the statues themselves, but also enjoy the stories from films about the Indonesian archipelago's civilization... It's fun and enjoyable, and educational entertainment at a low price...

The National Museum is excellent and important for educating the public. Because of its vast space, please provide clear and safe signage to the rooms. Thank you to the security guard who patiently showed us the way to the somewhat remote and unmarked theater. Hopefully, the National Museum can improve even further in the future. Thank you.

I recommend this place as a tourist destination, having a fun vacation while learning about history and other things. There are also many great photo spots. However, when I was there, some rooms were closed, so unfortunately, I couldn't make the most of them. But overall, it's nice.

A very interesting and wonderful place to visit. It offers learning opportunities, rides, and other fun activities. It's a great photo spot, and the location is comfortable and easy to reach. Ticket reservations are also easy. It could be considered one of Indonesia's favorite museums.

I came during the 17th August promotion. The staff was helpful, the facilities were good, but it's a shame the prayer room is only in the basement. The cafeteria food is delicious and affordable. The exhibition area is also very interesting for children's education.

Purchase tickets through the app and simply scan them at the entrance. The museum's collection is extensive, extending not only to the ground floor but also to the third floor. It's best to visit between morning and afternoon to explore all the exhibits. You can spend time there until closing time.
