The Bregenz Museum of Contemporary Art is an international contemporary art museum on the shores of Lake Constance in Bregenz, featuring a spectacular glass facade designed by Swiss architect Peter Zumthor between 1990 and 1997. The museum has two permanent collections: the Architecture Archive Art and Contemporary Austrian Art, featuring works by international artists who have created artworks for this space.

The Bregenz variant of Kaspatzurn uses locally rich and sharp flavored cheeses, such as mountain cheese and gray cheese. This dish is easy to make, from a soft dough resembling small pasta, cooked until hardened. The Kaspatzrun pasta is combined with sautéed onions and grated cheese. Finally, the pasta is garnished with chopped parsley, fried onions, fresh green salad, potato salad, or apple sauce.
