Movie World has something for everyone, it is a world of fantasy and fun entertainment. Here you will find thrilling rides like Superman Escape, a rollercoaster where you travel 100km/h in just two seconds. At Movie World you can also enjoy stunning shows and movie attractions.

South Bank offers 17 hectares of lush gardens, lawns, beach, restaurants, cafes and shopping. Both tourists and locals frequent the Riverside Walkway and flock to the area during music and arts festivals.

Broadwater Parklands provides a wide selection of recreational options that includes picnic, barbecue and promenade. Here you can also take a soothing bath or fish on the pier. For the children there is the Rockpools water playground, jumping pillows and a playground at the southern end of the park.

Australia Zoo was opened in in 1970 by Bob and Lyn Irwin, Steve Irwin's parents. Steve Irwin and his wife aimed to make the Zoo a wildlife conservation facility that is second to no other. Australia Zoo is the place to see a crocodile up-close without getting eaten.

Lamington National Park is World Heritage-listed and about a 2 hour drive away from Brisbane. The park’s walks take in pristine waterfalls, sections of the ancient Gondwana Rainforests and over 120 bird species that live there.

Burleigh Head is a small national park, located on the Gold Coast in South East Queensland. Here you can climb the park’s highest point, an ancient volcano, to see the 20 kilometres of unbroken white beach stretching far into the distance – what a sight.

This national park is a peaceful safe hafen with picturesque settlements and a beautiful scenery with waterfalls, teahouses and arts and craft galleries. It is located inland from the coast and has various tours available for a daytrip that you will definitely remember.

This sanctuary gives you the opportunity to touch and hold koalas in the world’s largest koala enclosure. The site is easily accessible by bus from the CBD, or via Miramar Cruises who do daily trips from South Bank’s Cultural Centre pontoon at 10am.

Underwater World and Dolphin Lagoon is Queensland’s largest oceanarium/aquarium with 25.000 sea animals and a multi award winning tourist attraction. Take the opportunity to walk with thousands of marine animals without getting your feet wet.
