Have you ever celebrated Halloween in Singapore? If the answer is “no”, it’s probably time to change your answer, because there are a lot of free Halloween activities in Singapore so you can, at least, spend the weekend differently.
Despite not being a traditional holiday in the country, Singapore is still the best place to experience the uniqueness of Halloween. As Halloween is very identical to ghosts, spirits, and all the creepy things, Singapore widely celebrates the day (or the week) by some Halloween-themed events, parties, and family friendly trick or treating—including the free Halloween activities in Singapore, in case you don’t want to be too serious.
So, let’s try this spooky celebration by visiting one of these free Halloween activities in Singapore (or maybe all of them, up to you).

There’s a famous spooky house event held every Halloween in Haw Par Villa. It is called Haw Ror Villa, and this year it features a bazaar as one of the zones inside: The Shaman’s Bazaar. It’s the only zone in Haw Ror Villa that is free to enter, yet you can still smell the fear from the ambience and the people who are just out from the spooky zones.
What to do in The Shaman’s Bazaar? Well, you can hunt for some delicious foods and drinks while also browsing for some goods—they are mostly in Halloween theme appearance.
That wasn’t all. You can also experience a unique thing, yet a little bit eerie: lying on a real coffin. It’s available at the Rebirthing Experience in Tiger Pavillion, offering you a perspective you haven’t known yet without spending any money.

Period: 26 - 27 October 2024 (starting from 10 AM)
If you have little children then you can bring them to Cafe Melba to celebrate Halloween. Cafe Melba held the Monster Mash event, where there will be a playground, catwalk sessions, fun and spooky games (lead by Camp Rock It Kids Club from 11 AM - 2 PM), and of course, a photobooth to commemorate this year’s Halloween.
Hence, you should dress your kids with their favourite characters and get them ready for the catwalk session at 11.30 AM and 4.30 PM. Another fun game is available too: the Creepy Crawl Hunt, at 11 AM, 2 PM, and 6 PM.
We promise, it’s going to be a full day of fun—and your kids might think that Halloween is a fun day, not a scary one.

Are you with the whole family? Are your children enthusiastic about welcoming Halloween? If they do, please, please, take them to Spooky Fun in Singapore Discovery Centre.
Relax, it won’t be too scary for children. In fact, it would be so fun with various activities like doing some crafts, taking some funny photos with the whole family in Creepy Captures (with all the scary decorations as the backdrop), or joining the self-guided trail at Spooky Scare: The Haunted Mess Adventure.
Anyway, note for the most special night of Spooky Fun, held only on 12 October 2024, from 6 to 8 PM. Experience Spook-tacular Home (mini scare areas), Unlimited Spooky Rides (4D XD Theatre), and face painting for kids. All of them can be enjoyed for FREE!
