Plus, you don’t have to take the PCR test prior to your departure and you don’t need to take the test within the time of the arrival as well.

We repeat: the policy above only applies for people with a full dose of vaccination. If you are entering Malaysia from Singapore and you want to prove that you are already fully vaccinated, you can verify your digital certificate of COVID 19 vaccination on an application called MySejahtera (don’t forget to download it immediately on your smartphone).

If you are an adult that is included in one of those categories, then the new requirements do not apply to you. Also, entering Malaysia from Singapore won’t be easy if you are not fully vaccinated yet. As long as you are 18 and above, you still have to spend some quarantine days before you can actually enjoy your moments in Malaysia. The quarantine itself will be held for 5 days.

If you’re not fully vaccinated or even not vaccinated at all, you need to have travel insurance before entering Malaysia from Singapore. To be honest, the price of the insurance is quite a lot. It is around US$20,000.

As for those 17 years old and under that are not fully vaccinated yet, you don’t have to spend a quarantine upon your arrival. But, the pre and post test to prove that you are negative from COVID 19 are still the must-have requirements.
