Situated at the centre of Maldives in the Alif Dhaal Atoll, Dhigurah offers captivating scenery like no other.
The inhabited island has the longest beach of approximately four kilometres among the islands in Maldives and, thus, called Dhivehi or Long Island by the locals.
The sea surrounding Dhigurah is famous as a habitat for whale sharks and an occasional swimming route of manta rays.

The iconic feature of this inhabited island is its "Sea of Stars", whereby visitors would witness the sea sparkling like stars at night.

Baa Atoll Biosphere Reserve is a critical habitat for diverse sea creatures located in the central region of Maldives. Its rich biodiversity encompasses more than 1200 coral-dependent marine creatures and 250 stony and soft coral species.
The reserve is also a habitat for threatened and endangered marine species, including the hawksbill turtle and tawny nurse shark.
