Qatar VTL - The Football Championship will be held in Qatar soon. As a football lover, are you interested in coming there? Seeing the condition of our country, which is already in the transition phase towards COVID-19 resilience, there is nothing wrong with flying to Qatar.

In 2022, Singapore has set several rules regarding slack for daily activities. Now, there are no more restrictions on group size in social gatherings. No more individual or group social distancing, employees can go to the office, and everyone is free to take off masks in open spaces.

Qatar VTL

Before flying to Qatar, you have to know about Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL). VTL by air is a framework to facilitate two-way travel by individuals who have received a complete regimen of a COVID-19 vaccine. With VTL, fully-vaccinated travelers will enjoy quarantine-free travel to Singapore on designated VTL flights or ferries.

However, the rules regarding VTL have changed from 1 April 2022. Singapore has transitioned from the earlier-launched Vaccinated Travel Lanes (VTLs) to the Vaccinated Travel Framework (VTF). Under the new VTF, all fully vaccinated travelers may enter Singapore via any flight without the need for quarantine or an on-arrival test.

VTL is also used to go to Qatar. You can use Qatar Airways flights. Because starting February 26, 2022, the airline is already operating daily flights from Doha – Singapore with VTL on Mondays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Before deciding to leave, you need to understand the regulations for traveling from Singapore. Apart from checking the entry requirements imposed by your destination country/region, you should also monitor local developments, and heed the advice of local authorities.

Some of the documents that may be required when flying from Singapore to other countries are a pre-departure COVID-19 test report (PCR or ART), vaccination certificates, and digitally authenticated recovery certificates via Notαrise if you ever tested positive for COVID-19.

In addition, there are also conditionally approved vaccines, such as Sinovac, Sinopharm, Sputnik V, and Covaxin.

In addition to the COVID-19 vaccination, the Government of Qatar has advised travelers to receive their seasonal influenza vaccination before arrival. You can ask your medical practitioner about other recommended vaccinations for traveling to Qatar and the Middle East.
