The following destinations are not visa-required but do require Singaporeans to complete a short online application before departure. These are not full visa applications but must be done before you check in at the airport.

A UK Electronic Travel Authorisation is required for all Singaporeans travelling to the UK from 8 January 2025. The ETA is not a visa but a pre-travel check linked to your passport digitally.

Australia requires Singaporeans to hold an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA, subclass 601) before arrival. The ETA allows multiple short visits within a 12-month period.

Singapore is part of the US Visa Waiver Program. Singaporeans can visit for up to 90 days for tourism or business, but must hold an approved ESTA before flying.

Entry to all 27 Schengen countries, including France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands, currently remains visa-free for Singaporeans for up to 90 days in any 180-day period. Note that the EU's new Entry/Exit System (EES) launched in April 2026 now captures biometric data at Schengen border crossings on arrival. No advance application is needed for EES, but expect biometric checks on your first entry.

Once ETIAS launches (expected Q4 2026), a separate online authorisation will be required before visiting. Cost: EUR 20 for travellers aged 18 to 70, free for those outside that range. Validity: 3 years. Until ETIAS goes live, no pre-travel application is needed.

India's e-Visa system allows Singaporeans to apply fully online before travel. The tourist e-Visa covers stays of up to 30 days and must be used within 120 days of the issue date.

Singaporeans can visit Saudi Arabia for up to 90 days using either an e-Visa applied for online, or a visa on arrival at major Saudi airports. The tourist visa includes mandatory health insurance coverage.

Russia now offers an e-Visa for Singaporeans, allowing stays of up to 30 days and applied for entirely online without a consulate visit. However, check the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Singapore (MFA) travel advisory at mfa.gov.sg before making bookings.

Singaporeans require a visa to enter Nigeria. The Nigerian Immigration Service processes applications online via its e-Visa portal, allowing stays of up to 30 days.

Pakistan's e-Visa covers tourist visits of up to 90 days and is applied for fully online.
