Here are the steps to book EVA Air tickets online:
Payments for EVA Air tickets can be made via bank transfer, and credit card.
For more information regarding available payment methods, please visit the Payment Methods page.
The EVA Air e-ticket serves as proof of your booking for EVA Air flights. Show your e-ticket at the EVA Air counter during check-in (either at the airport or online) to get your boarding pass. If you do not receive your e-ticket within 60 minutes after making payment, please contact Traveloka Customer Service immediately.
EVA Air connects Singapore with Taipei and offers onward international itineraries through its Taiwan hub. For an EVA Air booking, start with the journey you need, then compare the cabin and fare family. Economy, Premium Economy and business cabin products describe different travel experiences; Basic, Standard and Up describe fare conditions within a cabin. A higher fare family does not automatically mean a different seat or a cabin upgrade.
This distinction matters when comparing EVA Air flights from Singapore. A low headline price may carry different checked-baggage and advance seat-selection inclusions from another Economy ticket on the same departure. Look at the full itinerary, including any partner-operated sector, rather than choosing by the airline name alone. Use the passenger count, travel dates and required baggage consistently when comparing options, so the final totals answer the same travel need.
EVA Air was founded in March 1989 and began flight operations on 1 July 1991. Its corporate profile identifies it as a Taiwanese airline and a sister company of Evergreen Marine. The company’s establishment and its first commercial flight are separate milestones. Its current route choices and cabin products should be checked through the booking details rather than inferred from its age.
Infinity MileageLands is the airline’s frequent-flyer programme, with Green, Silver, Gold and Diamond tiers. Add the appropriate membership details to an eligible booking and check the earning rules for its fare. A programme name on a ticket is not a promise of an upgrade. Equally, alliance membership and a passenger’s own status are different things. Read the applicable benefit conditions before counting on priority services or lounge access.
EVA Air’s published passenger-aircraft information includes Boeing 787-9, 787-10 and 777-300ER aircraft, as well as Airbus A330-300 and A321-200 aircraft. This fleet list describes the airline’s equipment across its network. It does not identify the aircraft that will operate a particular Singapore departure, and aircraft assignments can change.
For example, a Boeing 787-9 label alone does not confirm the newer three-class interior. Some aircraft have different cabin configurations, so a photograph of one cabin cannot settle what is included in another ticket. If seat layout is central to your choice, compare the selected cabin, seat map and flight details together. Keep the itinerary information with your booking confirmation so you can review any subsequent equipment change.
For travel from Singapore, start with Singapore to Taipei flights. EVA Air publishes the Singapore Changi–Taiwan Taoyuan route, using airport codes SIN and TPE. The city-level comparison page can help you review available options, but read the actual airports shown in each result. A city name and a specific airport code are not interchangeable when planning transfers.
For an onward journey through Taipei, compare the complete itinerary rather than adding two attractive flight prices together. Check which airline operates every segment, whether the flights form one ticket, the connection duration and any overnight wait. A listed onward destination does not mean the entire trip is nonstop from Singapore. Use the total elapsed journey time to compare a connecting option with a direct alternative.
A return trip also needs its own review. The outbound and inbound flights may have different departure times, aircraft or fare conditions. Check the arrival date shown for each direction before arranging accommodation or a pickup. Avoid treating a fare seen on a route page as a guaranteed price for another date, passenger count or cabin.
When comparing fares, first work out the number of bags each passenger needs in both directions. Then compare the ticket plus any necessary extras. Do not assume the checked-baggage entitlement is pooled across your party or that buying a preferred seat adds another bag. Check the purchase conditions before paying for an extra service, and keep its confirmation with the ticket.
Measure the packed bag, including protruding parts, rather than relying only on a suitcase’s marketing size. Cabin and checked baggage have different purposes and limits. Review the airline’s current restricted-item guidance separately for batteries, unusual equipment or items that need approval. If another airline operates part of the trip, confirm which baggage conditions govern that itinerary before relying on the EVA allowance for every flight.
EVA Air offers online check-in from 48 hours to one hour before departure for eligible EVA Air and UNI Air international flights. Its separate Automated Check-In option lets eligible travellers enrol earlier and receive a completion notification 48 hours before departure. Neither option removes required airport document checks or baggage drop.
Keep the airline booking reference and passenger name available when retrieving the reservation. Review the passenger details and selected flight before completing any check-in step. If the itinerary contains a partner-operated codeshare, use the instructions for that operating airline; EVA’s online service is not available for every flight sold within a wider itinerary.
Plan airport arrival around the departure airport’s requirements, not around the online opening time. A completed online check-in is only one part of the journey to the gate. Allow time for bag acceptance, document verification, security and the boarding process. Check current counter and gate deadlines for your specific departure rather than applying one universal airport cutoff. Save the boarding pass in an accessible form and recheck the flight information before leaving for the airport.
EVA Air’s business cabin products include Royal Laurel and Premium Laurel/Business, alongside Economy and Premium Economy. Royal Laurel is described on its Boeing 787 and 777-300ER fleets with lie-flat seats. Premium Economy is a separate cabin, offered on 777-300ER aircraft and selected 787-9s. Confirm availability for the selected flight rather than expecting every aircraft to offer every cabin.
The newer three-class 787-9 Premium Economy product has a 2-3-2 layout and 42-inch seat pitch. EVA’s published 777-300ER Premium Economy product has 38-inch pitch. Compare those aircraft-specific details when seat space is a priority. Economy Preferred and Extra Legroom Seats remain Economy seat choices and should not be confused with Premium Economy.
For special meals, EVA asks for requests at least 24 hours before departure; Kosher requests require 72 hours through a local reservation office. Main-meal preselection has separate route and cabin conditions. Check that a request is recorded for the flight you will take, especially after an itinerary change. Research onboard entertainment, charging and connectivity for the actual aircraft if you need a particular facility; do not infer it from the cabin’s name or another passenger’s flight.
EVA’s infant policy requires children under two to travel with an adult. When an infant reaches their second birthday during the journey, sectors after that birthday require their own seat and the applicable child fare. Bassinets have aircraft-specific size and weight limits. Tell the airline the child’s date of birth, height and weight when requesting one rather than assuming any infant ticket includes a suitable bassinet.
Families should check the seat arrangement and requests for each sector before paying. An infant meal, a bassinet request and a passenger seat are different items; confirmation of one does not confirm the others. If a flight changes, review the arrangements again and keep the relevant confirmations available for the airport.
For a child travelling without an adult, pregnancy-related travel, mobility assistance or medical equipment, consult EVA’s dedicated current policy before selecting the ticket. Eligibility, documents and advance arrangements depend on the passenger’s circumstances and flight. Make the request early enough for the airline to review it. For a partner-operated sector, confirm that carrier’s acceptance too. A general booking confirmation does not establish approval for every special service.
EVA’s change rules can involve a fare difference, a tax or charge difference and a ticket-change fee. A change-fee waiver does not necessarily remove a higher fare on the new flight. Check the purchased fare conditions and the quote for the replacement itinerary before accepting a change.
For a ticket bought through Traveloka, begin with the booking in your Traveloka account and review the available reschedule or refund options. Keep the booking details, original travel dates and desired alternative ready. The request may need review against the airline’s rules; do not assume that submitting it means the flight has already changed or the refund has been approved.
Distinguish a voluntary change from an airline cancellation or schedule change. Different conditions may apply to a disruption, so check the current notice for the affected booking. Before cancelling a reservation, confirm the ticket’s refund eligibility and what happens to paid extras. Avoid buying a replacement on the assumption that the first ticket will receive a full refund. Use the confirmation and quoted terms for your own booking rather than a refund timeline reported for another ticket.
Traveloka lets you compare EVA Air flight options for your chosen dates and then review the itinerary before booking. Use that comparison to make a decision about the whole journey. A ticket that appears cheaper at first may be less suitable once you consider baggage, connection time and the flexibility you need.
If a promotion appears, read its current eligibility, travel period and redemption conditions. An offer may be limited to particular bookings, so assess the price actually available for your itinerary. Choose from the payment options displayed at checkout for your Singapore booking. Avoid assuming that an advertised airline programme benefit or an offer from another market applies to the same purchase.
There is no fixed weekday or advance-booking interval that guarantees the cheapest EVA Air ticket. Prices and seat availability can change between searches. Save a shortlist with the same baggage and itinerary assumptions, then compare the final purchase totals when you are ready to book. Recheck any promotion instead of treating an earlier screenshot as a current offer.
Before departure, return to the confirmed itinerary for current flight details and check-in instructions. If the schedule or aircraft changes, review the connection and cabin arrangements again. Keep the booking confirmation accessible when seeking help so the request can be assessed against the ticket you actually hold.
EVA Air permits one cabin bag up to 7 kg in Economy and Premium Economy. The published dimensions are 56 × 36 × 23 cm, with a total dimension limit of 115 cm. Royal Laurel, Premium Laurel and Business passengers have a different entitlement of two pieces, each up to 7 kg. Read any airport restrictions for the journey as well as the airline allowance.
EVA Air’s within-Asia Fare Family table gives Economy Basic and Discount one checked piece up to 23 kg; Standard and Up include two pieces up to 23 kg each. The rule is different for some long-haul fares and other ticket types. For a Singapore–Taipei journey, compare the fare family and the allowance printed on the issued ticket before buying extra baggage. Separate tickets carry their own allowances.
EVA Air’s Economy Standard fare includes advance Standard Seat selection. Economy Up also includes Preferred Seats. Basic and Discount generally charge for advance selection, while Standard and Preferred Seats can be selected without a fee during the eligible online check-in window, subject to availability. Extra Legroom Seats remain chargeable. These are seat zones within Economy; choosing one does not upgrade the cabin.
EVA Air asks for special-meal requests at least 24 hours before departure across its cabins. Kosher meals have a longer requirement of 72 hours and must be requested through a local reservation office. This differs from selecting a regular main meal, which has its own cabin and route conditions. Confirm that the requested meal is recorded for each eligible flight.
EVA Air’s online check-in window runs from 48 hours to one hour before departure for eligible international flights operated by EVA Air or UNI Air. Partner-operated codeshares and charter flights are excluded from this service. A confirmed ticketed booking is required. Completing the online step may still leave airport document checks or baggage drop to finish.
EVA Air lets eligible passengers apply for Automated Check-In from 360 days to 48 hours before departure. It then completes check-in automatically and sends an email notification 48 hours before departure. Ordinary online check-in requires the passenger to complete the process during its opening window. Automated enrolment does not remove any required airport document verification or baggage-drop steps.
Infinity MileageLands, EVA Air’s frequent-flyer programme, has Green, Silver, Gold and Diamond tiers. Gold and Diamond map to Star Alliance Gold; Silver maps to Star Alliance Silver on alliance partners. Earning, upgrades and airport benefits depend on the qualifying fare, airline and membership rules. Green membership alone does not confer the privileges of the higher tiers.
EVA Air joined Star Alliance on 18 June 2013, following the alliance’s acceptance of its membership requirements. It therefore joined an existing network rather than founding it. For a connecting itinerary, read the operating airline and current benefit conditions; alliance membership by itself does not give every passenger the same lounge or baggage entitlement.
EVA Air publishes Singapore–Taipei flights between Singapore Changi, SIN, and Taiwan Taoyuan, TPE. Taipei is its hub for onward connections. Compare the selected dates, connection time and operating airline when building an itinerary. This route listing does not establish a fixed fare, daily frequency or aircraft for every departure.
EVA Air offers Premium Economy on Boeing 777-300ER aircraft and selected Boeing 787-9s. Its newer three-class 787-9 cabin has a 2-3-2 Premium Economy layout and 42-inch seat pitch; the published 777-300ER product has 38-inch pitch. Check the selected flight’s cabin and seat map. A 787-9 aircraft label alone does not guarantee that it has the newer three-class configuration.
