Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS), usually called Schiphol, serves Amsterdam from Haarlemmermeer in North Holland, the Netherlands. The passenger terminal is one connected building with Departure Halls 1, 2 and 3. Choose the hall shown for your booking rather than treating these numbers as separate airports. Schiphol Plaza links the terminal to the railway station below it.
The departure hall tells you where to start check-in; the gate on your boarding pass tells you where to finish your journey through the terminal. Keep these two pieces of information separate when planning your route. Halls share a terminal complex, so finding another hall means following the signs within the building rather than looking for an inter-terminal bus.
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Singapore Airlines and Garuda Indonesia are among the airlines at Schiphol. Confirm your own flight's check-in location on the e-ticket and airline information.
The railway station is directly beneath the passenger terminal. From Schiphol Plaza, follow the train signs downstairs to the station. The journey to Amsterdam Centraal takes approximately 14–17 minutes. Use the journey planner for the departure you want; the approximate travel time does not include collecting baggage, reaching the platform or getting from the city station to your accommodation.
Amsterdam Centraal is the named destination for this airport-to-city connection. Check that destination before boarding instead of assuming that every train at Schiphol takes the same route. If you are travelling onward after reaching the city, plan that second leg separately so that you can compare the whole journey with a road transfer.
Official taxis depart from the rank outside Schiphol Plaza. Follow the terminal signs to the official stand when you prefer a road journey to your destination. A taxi can suit luggage or a destination away from the railway station; road conditions affect the journey.
Schiphol has KLM Crown Lounges for Schengen and non-Schengen passengers. The correct lounge depends on the part of the terminal used for your journey. Check entry eligibility against your airline and ticket before planning to spend time there.
Luggage storage is available at Schiphol. Use the airport map to locate the appropriate storage facility before leaving the secure area or setting off for Amsterdam.
Build your departure plan around the check-in advice for the ticket you hold. Recheck the departure hall before going to the airport, keep the e-ticket accessible, and follow your boarding pass for the gate. Train travel time is only one part of the day; add the airport steps and your starting point when deciding when to leave.
For updates on a particular flight, open Traveloka flight status and check the airline information as well.
The flight cards and schedule sections on this page help you compare flights using your travel dates. Use the displayed airline and times to examine the options, then review the selected itinerary before booking. The schedule is a selection of upcoming flights, so search with your own dates when you need a booking option.
Compare an itinerary that fits your journey through Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, then keep the e-ticket handy for your departure-hall check.
