המלון אולי קצת בלוי, אבל יחסית למלונות אחרי במדרין הוא היה מושלם בשבילנו. הקבלה הייתה זריזה, המיטה הייתה נוחה. הכל היה די מתפרק אבל בשביל המחיר זה היה מושלם. לא הוסטל אבל לא מלון, משהו באמצע. המיקום שלו היה מצויין ונוח, יש מסעדת דגים ממש מעבר לפינה שהייתה פשוט הרגע הטוב ביותר שלנו במדרין.

The Gran Madryin Hotel was extremely clean and user friendly. There was always someone helpful at the front desk. There was a nice breakfast every morning that consisted of yoghurt, cheese, cereal, cold cuts, juice, milk and coffee along with sweet rolls. There was also a pleasant living room area in the lobby that could be used for wi fi. When we asked to have 2 double beds in our room instead of 4 single beds, they arranged it for us. There was also ample parking in front of the building.

We got the balcony that we asked for. It was pretty hot, so didn’t get to use it as much as I would’ve liked. An umbrella or shade on the balcony would’ve been great. The rooms with a balcony were smaller. The bathroom just had the small sink, so nowhere to put toiletries. The window had a blackout screen. Nice, but, some sheer curtains would’ve been nice in addition to the blackout screen. You asked my opinion :) The location was great. Staff was very accommodating.

Was first put in disgusting mold smelling room with shutter over window, no natural light, no locks on that window, an open hole drain in shower, moldy smell, 1960s tv, and large areas of peeling paint, and tiny. First they said had no other rooms despite my booking for a city view room (not slat alley), then put me on second floor in regular room as per pictures on website. That room should not be rented out at that price or with that online hotel representation. Good reviews are probably from people who got a standard booked room...not those who were randomly sent to door #105. It’s probably not been touched since 1970. The standard room was only 3 rating..not bad but there were cigarette burns on blanket..really? Just replace it. And the sheets were not changed..just remade bed..I think they pretend to be 3 Star. Also no accommodation for late checkout without charge, tasteless and meager included breakfast option, and overall not a good hotel...please blame owners not staff. Pay $10 or $20 more and save yourself the disappointment and risk of getting a hovel instead of a room. Location excellent.

The hotel is not as described by Expedia. The standard double does not have a double and two single beds and doesn't have air conditioning but does have a fan. When we arrived we were told we could only have a twin room for our first night but this would be changed after that. The room was small, had no conditioning and over looked the main road so was noisy with the window opening. After complaining we were moved to quieter room and a quieter ceiling fan and this was more pleasant.

I stayed for 2 nights. My room was nothing fancy, but as a budget traveller, room was really clean and cute. No view from my room. But beach is less than a minute away. I was really happy with it. It is not for people who want luxually, but it is a good hotel.

Right on the main drag and maybe 100' from the beach, Gran Madryn is the refurbished version of a popular old hotel. No A/C but wonderful breakfast spread, modern bathrooms, able front desk and comfortable front lobby. We'd go here when returning to Puerto Madryn.

WE loved the GM... it's right off the beach and right on the main drag of Puerto Madryn. Desk is super helpful and the breakast is good. Beds comfy and the bathrooms are really in good shape since the restoration several years ago.

We spent two nights in a deluxe double. The room was large and very clean. The bath was good. The floors were wood laminate-which beats carpet in our minds. We added a 3rd night and had to move to a regular double room. This room was really small and the bathroom even smaller. However it was clean and servicable. For one night it was fine. The desk people were friendly and accomodating. They refrigerated our left overs from dinner for us. We could walk to restaurants and the sea wall-although we were there during a winter wind storm so we didn't take advantage of that. We used a rental car to get to Penninusula Valdes. Breakfast was okay-the usual Argenine selection. The attendant did have some trouble keeping up with the number of guests who were eating at one time. This meant tables weren't bused and some foods were low at times.

The owner and staff of the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very convenient for the beach and for the town centre. It was possible to rent a car through the hotel and pay for it at the same time as paying for the hotel stay. The room could have been more comfortably furnished but it was clean and adequate. We had a good time.

Hotel sem garagem. A disponivel é apenas até as 08:00 da manhã. Quartos de mesmo preço qdo se reserva são de qualidades diferentes. Um tinha varanda e ar condicionado com vista mar e o outro nada. O café da manhã muito fraco e não repõe os produtos. Ovos mexidos acabaram 1 hora e 30 minutos antes do horario de termino do café e os demais itens como por exemplo queijo demorou mais de 10 minutos para reaparecer.
