Australian Hotel Young

The rooms are great for the budget friendly travellers. Beds and linen nice and fresh. Can get noisily at times. The smell of air freshner is horrible outside in the back and around the pokies area. Please stop using that much.

Showers were rubish.

Stayed in the en-suite room for the one night. Reasonable sized room & was worth the extra money.

Only one shower working . Two toilets insufficient. Change the toilets and showers to the current standard. For the price room condition is very good and clean.

Staff attitudes are fantastic, very helpful, answer all questions about the area and give advice when needed. The meals served are very typical Australian Pub style meals and are very well priced. Good food, well served and well priced. Rooms are very good value for money.

Basic double bed, air con, attached bathroom, big screen TV, all the basics covered. Comfortable place to sleep, right in middle of town, walking distance to everything.

Basic but bed comfortable, food excellent. Convenient location. We have stayed here often to visit family.

Old hotel with access via a rusty old steel staircase, fire escape, at rear of hotel. Very noisy with loud music & drinkers below room window. Very cheap room rate so unfair to complain too much.

I had booked and paid in advance but when I got there they would not let me stay because I had accidentally left my licence at home. The lady at the counter was rude and seemed to believe I was making it all up for reasons unknown. It was late, I’d driven 4 hours from Sydney and she had no problems throwing me out on the street.

Not suitable to stay not even for a night . I wish i can download some photos i shut while staying there.

Accommodation of last resort in Young. Backpacker hostels have much better facilities. A disgrace to Young.

Hot water very slow to come through 1 of 2 showers disconnected. 1 toilet door not lockable

No fridge in room or basin for water. Basin isn't a must, but is there coffee or tea making facilities upstairs where the rooms are?

The hotel bars were great and the food excellent and the bedroom clean but the communal bathroom was very tired and felt grubby

Standard c room but did not have private facilities bathroom is shared an we could not use the shower no privacy like in the camp or army reserve

Was called a Fu##ing idiot & told to find somewhere else to stay at 1730 by the manager, All because I refused to let them record my Drivers Licence number on the computer along side my credit card details. I was left waiting at the counter for over 20 mins until the manager found his way back to the hotel, probably from home. I feel sorry for the staff. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO MY WORST ENEMY
