Beachfront Shoal Bay

A great spot, perfect for kids and within walking distance of everything. The beach being so close was awesome!

A great place to spend a few days walking, swimming and relaxing in idyllic natural surroundings. Thank you Kerrie for being such a considerate host.

The unit was very peaceful and in an excellent beachfront location. The decor inside was lovely and the quality of linens and appliances and all kitchen items provided was excellent. The hosts provided easy check in and great communication. We loved our stay.

The apartment was lovely and clean, the kitchen had modern appliances which was nice. The short stroll to the beach made for a quick and easy activity with our toddler. Nice big balcony to sit on and look out on the water. The area was lovely and quiet. Short drive to the middle or Nelson Bay or Shoal Bay and central to most of the activities in the area. We would gladly stay again 🙂

A beautiful, quiet place to relax and enjoy the view across the bay, the birdsong, the ocean breezes, the waves breaking on the shore and the healthy walks to the beaches and bush of Shoal Bay and nearby. We look forward to coming back. Andrew, Patricia and Robbie

We had a bit of a hiccup with keys upon arrival but it was sorted out quickly by the host. The apartment was clean, cosy and lovely with amble blankets, towels and tea. We loved that we could easily store our bikes in the garage and take off riding straight from the door. The only thing that I would say is that the shower’s water pressure was weak, but is expected for the era of the building. We loved our stay, it had stunning views, a quick walk straight onto the beach and it’s cute little balcony with a comfy day bed to chill out. Thank you, would love to return sometime soon!

The unit was a great place to stay ,right next to the beach, a great walking path from nelson bay to shoal bay. Down behind the unit.

Great location & views. Kitchen a little dated and despite closing doors & windows and putting food away etc had a multitude of bugs in it every night. Also found an open half full packet of chips under one of the beds. Shower temp was difficult to get right. Overall though the unit was set out nicely and had free WiFi, Netflix and Apple TV which was good. Owners were easy to communicate with and provided good information.

Spent a very relaxing, enjoyable four days. Kitchen and bathroom provisions generous. Quality furnishings. Owners very helpful. Breakfast on the balcony. Lovely filtered views across Shoal Bay and 2 minutes to swimming beach. We'll be back!

I loved the beach frontage and was able to walk along the beach direct from the apartment. The view was beautiful, the apartment was clean, functional and everything I needed. Would be great to bring the family with me next time. Thanks for a great stay!

Great location, nice decor and well equipped for a comfy stay.

The place was not clean Kitchen not up to a reasonable standard Stove top dirty above stove filthy, jug dirty on the outside remote controls where filthy mugs in pantry all stained

Older style apartment but with all amenities & off street garage parking - top class linen - towels etc - perfect for a couple or small family. Balcony with seating & easy access to the bay! We would definitely stay again!

Excellent location, close to beach and bushland. Everything needed for a family stay was there. While the apartment was comfortable, the electric stove was old and the hotplates were not efficient, and the shower was difficult to adjust for temperature. Despite these issues we enjoyed our stay and would return.

Very comfortable unit with nice views. Nice extras left for guests. We enjoyed our stay very much. Shower pressure disappointing but overall great holiday place.

In all our years of coming to Shoal Bay - over 15 years this would be the best equipped flat we have lived at. Fantastic and well done!

This property was perfect for the 2 of us. So well equipped and comfortable beds.The view of course was so relaxing on large patio.
