I had an amazing experience at this hostel right in the heart of Fremantle. The location is perfect — close to all the local attractions, cafes, and vibrant markets. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to offer helpful tips on exploring the city. The hostel itself is clean, modern, and comfortably furnished. I appreciated the social atmosphere, which made meeting fellow travelers easy and enjoyable. The communal areas were lively yet relaxing, ideal for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a budget-friendly, convenient, and enjoyable stay in Fremantle. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Booked this room just to have a place to store bags and get a nap between disembarking from a cruise and flying out at night. It was barely adequate for that--certainly would not have wanted to stay all night. Might be okay if you're under 25, even then it's over-priced.

Strong positives and negatives 1. Dorm uppet bunks have 2 squabs for mattresses which sink in a lot ie really soft. Very bad for backs and this 54 Yr old has had neck surgery. Slept like that for 4 nights as had to pay up front. 2. WORSE I had over $250 cash stolen from a locked part of my bag locked in a suitcase in a locked room. I must've been watched as it was known I was away for a longer than usual period that day. Had to be a professional. Reception on knowing took no proactive step but to say they saw nothing when I asked. I was most upset and a little freaked out and checked out immediately. 3. Girls toilets and showers were mopped at night o' day 2 of my stay (I was unexpectedly up) and the water was filthy black. It and footmats need far more often cleaning to be hygienic. POSITIVES 1 Staff are businesslike, competent, energetic and helpful with queries in what's a really busy place. 2. Free breakfast is great. Deserves more positive than reviews. It's free guys. You can add your own stuff 3. The other people staying there are from many varied backgrounds, interesting, friendly, adventurous. Enjoyed meeting them all. 4.Very decent sized kitchen which was well stocked, good variety of games, spaces, amenities for recreation including 2 screens, pool table... 5. A lot of info for tourist sightseeing etc 6.Fabulous central location close to free buses & other transport, supermarket, beaches, sights, pubs, restaurants...

Great location. We stayed for 2 nights over a weekend in the ensuite. Friendly staff. Shower water pressure is satisfactory. The ensuite floor and bed side tables are a bit dusty. One side of the window is facing the street and the other side is facing the alley. Fantastic live music not sure where that came from coz we were in bed but surely you won't miss out any of the musics or sounds around your room. Bathroom basin took a while for the water to drain out. Never had a chance to hire their bikes, was told to hire from a brewery nearby. Other amenities such as pool table, tv games, board games are great. Good experience for 35&40yo couple.

This property is in a great location, right in the heart of it all. The staff and friendly and helpful. However, I was rather disappointed in the condition of the property. The “beds” are not mattresses but rather thin strips of foam, worn in the middle so your hips/bum are literally laying on the metal lattice work of the bunk bed structure. Every night was a struggle and I woke up sore and exhausted. If you’re not fussed about bed comfort then go for it, because other than that it was a nice hostel.

Check in was good. Great luggage security. Not allowed snacks in room which is a pain. Also very noisy!!! Play very loud music right next too room. Everything is loud. Not for those who want a quieter place. Toilet is past dining area meaning you have to go past people everytime. Snacks to be kept in lockers out of room and can't eat in room. Makes hard to chill out without people around you. Privacy not good. But clean.

It was such an amazing place to stay! The people were so so great and the hostel had an awesome sense of community with activities planned every night. I stayed in a private room that was super homey with a beautiful, newly renovated bathroom. The communal kitchen, while it could be a little better organised in terms of pots/pans and utensils, it was really great with plenty of fridge space and good industrial stoves and benches. The hostel was really close to everything in Fremantle so that was another bonus.

I had an ensuite room, so expectations were similar to motel. But they partied every night until midnight in the lobby area and I could not even hear the TV above the din. Avoid this place if you are looking for a quiet night's rest. There was a public kitchen but everything was quite dirty and better to eat and drink at many nearby cafes. Would not go there again.

We arrived late but everything was available at the front desk, the staff were so welcoming and relaxed. Very affordable and close to everything in freo.
