A fantastic location with plenty of activities to keep kids, young and old, occupied. The staff are excellent, really welcoming and make you feel right at home. The view from 4 pines is amazing and definitely a must do for dinner and sunset! The rooms are very spacious and clean, if a little tired but it adds to the rustic charm. Parking is plentiful. Wish I had stayed longer!

Room was fine. Food unavailable after 8 pm which was really annoying after a long drive. No check in staff when we arrived and night porter ( only 8pm) had no idea if restaurant was still serving food ( we would have stayed elsewhere if he had told us no as we booked spur of the moment). Internet in the room was unusable which caused issues for us. Otherwise an ok stay. The cellar tasting was good and the host excellent.

Receptionist was lovely, warm and welcoming. Our room was quesrtionable. Im from the country so i understand animals but to have an animal poo assuming lizzard or snake under a chair wasnt ideal expecially when i had children with me. Of a night time i had to leave the bathroom light on to try and atteact all the mosquitoes that were in out room somehow. The buzzing noise from them was so bad and it got to the point i was fighting them off my children as they tried to sleep. The pool was clean and refreshing.

Wifi needs to be improved, hand soap is too high for the bathroom sink, dish soap should be available if dishes are provided so they could be washed and reused. Bed was comfortable.

Had service problem at our first and only dinner, reported this to the Proprietor in person hoping the problem could be solved within. I understand staff shortages etc., just needed to let management know they had a problem.
