I checked in very early and they kindly allowed me to have a room despite the fact that room check in is 2pm. The hotel staff were all very helpful. I'd have liked to have seen extra options listed in the room though, eg: the cost of breakfast, etc. However, I'd happily stay here again.

A great location close to everything I needed. Staff were helpful and friendly. The only complaint was the room needed an air freshener as it had a strange smell. I used glen20 and it was better.

The place needs some love, door handles broken, corners of walls smashed and no ventilation in bathroom. It is budget but doesn’t need to be neglected.

The location was excellent. We were close to the major train station and in the centre of the city. However, the room itself was disappointing. It was small, (shower is in the room next to the bed) and not well equipped. We had to ask for two glasses and while there was a fridge and kettle, only coffee making supplies provided. It was reasonable in price.

Accidentally took the lift to the basement, dead cockroaches everywhere. Very noisy due to some drunk couple arguing in the corridor at 2am, no one to call to get it sorted. Shower is actually in the bedroom just behind a curtain. Reading lights didnt work, sink cracked, toilet flush was faulty.

My room wasn't clean, and it got booked out a second time after I checked in. A random stranger let themselves into my room while I was in bed! Staff were apologetic but offered no compensation. The next night my access card didn't work and had to be reset, and when I explained to the next staff member it might be to do with the previous nights double booking she just laughed. Location was great, and shower pressure excellent, but I didn't feel safe there and wouldn't go back.
