Best trip and hotel in the world! The employees are kind and super accommodating. Don’t need to worry about anything they are organised e.g. they booked a shuttle for me and I didn’t even provide any details and they came into the airport to find me. Food is amazing at Alucco and room service was amazing too! We will be staying here again very soon!

Amazing lagoon pool. Beautiful buffet breakfast. Friendly staff. Housekeeping could be better as room was quite dusty in places. Otherwise a lovely stay in a tropical oasis.

Whilst the amenities and restaurant were fantastic, the studio spa room was terrible and the cleanliness of the bedding, floors and room in general was poor. Yellow stained sheets, grimy floors and unable to watch tv due to terrible layout. To make things worse, one of the staff accidentally entered our room at 1:30am and didn't say anything before exiting. A terrible night sleep to top things off. They did apologise the next day and replaced my sheets with a other highly stained yellow one. I won't be going back.

Second time at sea temples - nice hotel and pool. Good rooms. Location 7-8 mins from port Douglas town. Hotel is part hotel part private owned. Nice breakfast. Awkward pool layout meaning you have to walk around the hotel to get to reception. Also pool towels were kept there which does not make any sense.

It was a bit shambolic on check in. Couldn't find our booking. Rooms starting feel a bit dated, but everything was clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food in restaurant is fine but not amazing, but a fine place to stay. Lots of families so if you’re a couple looking for romance and peace look elsewhere. If you have kids its heaven, they will love the pool.

My husband and I arrived at Pullman for 9 days stay with friends. Resort was lovely. However we were extremely disappointed that there were issues continuously. We had a terrible welcome where we were not informed on anything. Apparently there is a contract that explains housekeeping etc which we were not advised on or given to read. Nor were we advised that there is a daily fee for housekeeping which we can opt out of. We assumed that housekeeping was included in our stay. We made the beds most days, washed the dishes, put them away and kept the room clean. Housekeeping entered on their own accord, did not clean the room, didn’t have to wash dishes or put them away. Didn’t clean the floors, bathrooms etc. our towels were barely replaced. On one occasion I was told that the towels had not been delivered so I had to use the pool towels. I had to go to reception to ask for face flannels and toilet paper which house keeping did not replenish. House keeping however did fold the toilet paper that was in use in a neat triangle!! On the odd days that they made our beds, the sheets were hanging out and not pulled neatly. Our room safe broke down twice and we could not access it. The third time it broke down, we stopped using it in case our passports and cash was stuck in there. The door was difficult to lock and on the second day the door handle fell off. Shower head was broken. Communication needs to improve when checking in.

I absolutely love The Sea Temple. We did all the tiling there back in 2004 when I was working with Jerry And The Tile Makers, and I knew from the moment we started that this would end up being my 'go to place'. I have stayed here countless amounts of times because it is all class, incredibly neat and tidy, it's peaceful and all the rooms/facilities are all of the highest standard. The staff are extremely friendly and professional, making your experience at The Sea Temple even more enjoyable. This is why I always choose this incredible tropical spa and resort. It's like you've entered another world of secluded paradise.

The Pullman is one of the farthest hotels from the Port Douglas village, but it is self-contained, and the staff are incredibly helpful with any requests. We self-drove but there was also a shuttle available at most times into town. We selected the Pullman for the timeless decor. I had read a few reviews about most hotels being 'dated'. We weren't disappointed. It was lovely. We stayed in one of the three-bedroom villas with a pool, and it felt very luxurious! It was larger than our own home in Sydney!

The property was what we expected, though it basically could use a refresh. The pool is the centerpiece, and the bottom is ready for a fresh coat of paint. I strongly suggest you add robes if you're using the words "resort" and "spa" in the name of your property. Also, our air conditioning was tough to use because the remote is old and finicky (it took two members of the cleaning staff to get it to work).

Excellent check in experience. Gina was amazing and thought of everything we could possibly need. We went for our Silver Anniversary and was told we would be receiving a little surprise delivered to our room on the day, however that never happened. That’s ok though, wasn’t Gina’s fault that her request wasn’t done. We had a fantastic time and loved the penthouse. Thank you Pullman.
