Royal Exhibition Hotel is located at 86-88 Chalmers Street, Surry Hills, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, 2010. It's situated in the Sydney area of Australia, known for its vibrant nightlife and street food. The hotel is approximately XX km from the city center.

How to go to Royal Exhibition Hotel from Airport

Figuring out the best way to get from the airport to your hotel can be a bit of a puzzle. Luckily, there are several options for a smooth hotel transfer from Sydney Airport (SYD) to the Royal Exhibition Hotel. Here's a breakdown to help you choose the best route:
  • Taxi (Most Direct):

A taxi is the most straightforward option, taking you directly from the airport to the hotel. You'll find taxi ranks outside the arrival halls. However, this is generally the most expensive option.
  • Ride Hailing (Convenient):

Ride-hailing services like Traveloka offer a convenient alternative to taxis. Simply book a ride through the app, and a driver will meet you at a designated pick-up point. This can sometimes be more affordable than a taxi, especially during off-peak hours.
  • Train (Most Affordable):

The Airport Link train connects Sydney Airport to the city centre. From the airport station, take the T8 Airport & South Line to Central Station. From Central Station, you can either walk (approximately 20 minutes), take a bus, or catch another train to a station closer to the Royal Exhibition Hotel. This is the most budget-friendly option.
  • Bus (Scenic Route):

Several bus routes connect the airport to various parts of Sydney. You'll need to check the specific routes and timetables to see if there's a convenient option for reaching the Royal Exhibition Hotel. This option can be slower than the train or taxi.

Tips:

For the most convenient route, consider a ride-hailing service or taxi if you have a lot of luggage or prefer a door-to-door service. If you're on a budget, the train is a great option, but be prepared for a bit of walking or a connecting bus ride.

Excellent location. Not so good: Hotel current under renovation. Construction noise from 6.00am. Street noise from 24hr bar opposite and trams. Elevator not working (staff happily assisted with luggage). No secure luggage storage (limited storage within bar area). Very, very slow free wi-fi

On arriving at Property staff very helpful but room on my inspection had a shower door that only could be opened inwards, no way around it . notified staff who could not help as hotel was full, rang in morning and could not say if they had another room till others had booked out at 10am, difficult for me as I had meetings to attend at 8.30am elsewhere and my elderly husband I left there in room, then had to leave my important meeting to rearrange moving all into a new room which staff did send me notification of prior. but also that cleaners needed to clean my original room. just a comment by staff that they would be renovating bathrooms.I wonder who else had not complained re the shower and it was being cleaned for the next customer!!! On arriving back at the desk I only had an apologetic word from the lass on the Bar who was very helpful but not a word of apology from Proprietor. This hotel is convenient to my office and Trains, and have stayed before and meals very nice.
