I had been on the road too long and found this little Gem on a whim to rest for the evening. Direct shot from the Highway, petrol and groceries close by and making it simple and easy to get back on the road in the morning. Room had lots of space and My 6yr old had the time of his life. had a swim in the pool, took a walk in the quiet leafy area around, he found the firepit and BBQ and asked to come back with all his mates and then we made a Giant bubble bath. A 1-night stop for survival turned into core family memory. We will return.

At first, we were quite confused to book the motel because of the location as it was one hour away from Nelson bay. However, once we arrived, we found it was worth it. Such a lovely staff and clean room. Plus, the country club is just behind the hotel so it was really convenient to go for a drink and dinner. Also, enjoying the karaoke.

Big room. Aspects of room "tired" and in need of repair (e.g., cracked / broken floor tiles in bathroom, taps in bathroom). Lacks sufficient power points (GPOs) which are supplemented by two cheap power boards. Pleasant outlook from rear of room. Nice quiet location.

This motel appears to have been an expensive spend when first constructed, but fixtures and fittings are now a little "long in the tooth" and in need of modernising. If you provide liquid soap etc. dispensers, at least ensure they are full when room is serviced. The washbasin soap dispenser was empty as was the shower gel - not very good particularly at the price point of the rooms. Several rooms being serviced with bedding disheveled and unoccupied were left in full view with open curtains; not a good look. We had a quiet and peaceful stay all the same.

Asked to swap rooms as the king bedroom with “garden view” was a bit misleading as the view was more like dirt view with a line of trees close by . Wife was also unimpressed with cleanliness. However they did redeem themselves by swapping us to a room with lawns view, that was also a lot cleaner. No smart tv though ! Just terrestrial channels. Overall would recommend but ask for queen room with lawn view

On first arrival the room looked really clean, bright, tidy and spacious. The soft green wall and beach artwork was beautiful - perfect even. Going into the bathroom was more disappointing, as there was water damaged laminate under the sink cabinet, which housed the spa equipment, which means there was also no storage. The shower was absolutely brilliant!!! The only real complaint is about the cleansing products. They are cheap - the hand wash and body wash gel is actually rubbish and did not lather or wash the residue makeup off my hands. I washed my hands three times and it still didn't come off - good luck cleaning the white towels. If you improve a couple of these easy to fix issues, you would get an even higher rating. The accommodation is in a convenient spot. I did find $299 per night rather steep in price - it's not the Ramada.
