Grätzlhotel Belvedere

Staff went above and beyond to communicate with me, they lent me an adapter and stored my bag. Room was spotless and very cool. Great location close to train station and city centre. Great price. Good coffee and Manner in the room was a nice touch. Would highly recommend.

Vienna is a wonderfully walkable city. Here for three days (two nights) the Belverdere suite was perfect. Brilliantly fitted out, funky, fascinating (the old lock and key story bought graphically to life in the decor), convenient and comfortable. Highly, highly recommended. I didn't really interact with any staff but would repeat the visit without hesitation. Thank you for a fabulous stay.

Lovely place and good location. Walkable distance to everywhere. The free wine and water were a bonus too.

The concept of the hotel is interesting, however there are many areas for improvement that should be taken into account such as the following: 1. for people with very basic needs, there is no easy access 2. there is no room service, nor a way to call in case something is wrong 3. the fact that they use commercial premises as rooms generates insecurity and concern about stokers watching through the window 4. they never change the bedding

Very good concept for creating the suites. Very close to train station and walkable to the city center. Highly recommend staying here.

I did not get the right information about where the room of the ‘hotel’ was located and how the check in. The room was full of dust and loads of fungi growing on the bathroom walls. I sent the owner videos and photo’s but did not get any reply. We stayed for 5 days. No cleaning in between and the same towel for 5 days

Finding the room was confusing without any proper description. Room is nice and clean but on the ground floor with a public view from the yard between the buildings.

Such a cool apartment and great use of space! Very clean, well decorated and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Nespresso machine was a nice touch and plenty of capsules to go in it. We were very close to Belvedere Palace on a quiet street so the location was great too. The communication was really good too. Very happy.

The property was very modern, clean and tidy. Location was good too and about a 25 minute walk to the city centre. Some nice little restaurants around and a number of supermarkets which were handy.

Spacious bedroom and bathroom with modern design, high ceilings, very classy. Nice location very close to the tram stations and the main train station. Actually, you can walk to Oberes Belvedere from the apartment.

I thought this was an hotel but my room was not actually in a building but directly in the street. The noise of the street was very disturbing and a car shop next door, made it impossible to sleep after 8:00 am. There is no reception and eventhough they had a phone it was not picked up 2 of 3 times we called. Since the room is at street level it feels very humid. For not been an hotel a checkout at 11:00 am is too early.

Good location, staff were very helpful!, room had no obvious way to control temperature, shower looked nice but in reality there was very little / no hot water. Wi-Fi was so-so. Without a way to control temperature, I could not imagine someone staying there during the Vienna winter!

Great room...very cozy. The only issue we had was that there was a lot of mold growing on the walls in the shower. Apart from that the room and staff were great- we would definitely stay again!

The room was nice, however, the shower didn't drain properly. It flooded into bed area. I informed hotel and they sent someone in to clean, however, the shower still didn't drain proper.

It was a somewhat strange experience in that it wasn't a hotel but a standalone room. All the services were provided though.

Communication prior to the visit was excellent with clear instructions on how to access the suite. The room has everything you need including kettle, safe, minibar, crockery and cutlery and was really warm. If you prefer the shower separate to your sleeping area this is not for you but was fine for us. Possibly needs a little more storage space but again, fine for us. Office round corner if you need to ask anything face to face.Bed very comfortable so great night's sleep and only a few mins walk to underground stop. All in all a great stay in a well designed suite. Thanks Urbanauts!

This is a fantastic way to operate a hotel. This felt much more independent than your typical hotel but more amenities than an apartment. We loved it!

Check-in was disastrous. Email went to my junk mail. Most places like this would follow-up or ask for confirmation. No such luck. The address also has no marking. Once we got there it is a nice quaint place. Parking is also easy.
