Hallstatt Hideaway - Adults only

Room was spacious and clean, the view was amazing and the staff was really friendly.

The room was idyllic and accommodations superb; however, the check in process was clunky and could definitely be more efficient and straight forward. This could be easily be more improved by coming up with a process so that we best understand what the process is. Other than that, hands down a beautiful place to stay and highly recommend.

Nice room and view. A good walk and plenty of stairs from the ferry. We had the hot tub - nice but probably needed some chlorine. Breakfast was delivered to the room and was a very nice spread. Very nice stay.

The priperty was unique, clean , warm and inviting.The onlybarea that needs improvement is the communication by email.I had sent a few emails and there was no response.Hiwever they did respond by phone.Otherwise a lovely place to stay.

Staff very nice. Place nice but I feel the pictures in Expedia were over promising not really reflecting reality.

Sorry the clear room is no good ,in the shower the water didn’t go down quickly and it flooded .Its really not hat the level of the price they charge

Nice place and good location. They really try to sell you on their National Geographic status, which is cool but doesn't mean much when it comes to comfort. I wasn't super impressed with the property given it's price tag, but the stay overall was good. Only odd thing was check-in, we weren't asked for ID, Passport etc... we just showed up gave our names and were shown to our room...

Very spacious room with beautiful view of the lake. The TV, safe and some bathroom lights were not working and were not fixed.

Wow! One of the best hotel stays we’ve ever had. You could not beat the view from our room directly over the lake. It was stunning! The staff was so courteous and welcoming. The suite was clean, enormous, had so much character and was comfortable. The location was ideal and breakfast brought to us on a rainy morning was the perfect ending. Highly recommend!

I want to give this 3.75 stars but 3 is to low but 4 is too high in my opinion (for the price at least). The room was quaint and cozy - maybe a bit older than I imagined from the pictures but nothing disappointment. The view of the lake from the windows was beautiful. My biggest complaint was the lakeside garden. I was actually REALLY looking forward to spending a few hours relaxing by the lake - one of the reasons I booked this place and it was SO BAD! First of all - it's a 10 minute walk away (maybe I missed this information when booking but this was a surpirse). Secondly, it looks NOTHING like the photos. Completely overgrown and looks like it hasnt been kept up with in a year. Bird poop on all the chairs, etc. I left immediately and was pretty disappointed. Only other oddities that are important to note - the stairs are really steep (no worries - i somewhat expected this in Europe) BUT you have to take your shoes off anywhere inside and it feels like the slippers are a little too slippery for the stairs. I was nervous I would fall! Also i'm not a huge fan of removing my shoes in public or putting on other slippers so would have been nice to know in advance but I can overlook this. I also couldnt shut 1 of my windows because there was a weird vent (that wasnt connected to anything) block it. Luckily the weather was nice and the town was safe and quiet enough that it didnt matter. It was a great location though but the outdoor garden was pretty disappointing.

Wonderful staff, nice room with beautiful view, close to nice restaurants and attractions. Complementary wine and snacks are a plus and making us feel very welcomed!

I can’t recommend Hallstatt Hideaway enough! I arrived early and was able to keep my luggage with staff and checked in later. I had the most beautiful spacious room with a view of the lake that was breathtaking! Staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing delivered to my room with so many options. Hotel is steps away from the market and main shops and dining. I will definitely stay here again!

Perfect location - overlooking the lake and village

You can’t beat the location and quaintness of this room. It was like staying in the guest room of a friend. Everything wasn’t perfect, but it was luxurious and they made sure we were comfortable. The best part was a delicious breakfast brought up to our room. We ate with the windows wide open and the view was perfect! Kopila and Suni were wonderful hosts!

Beautiful location and view. Rooms not comfortable. Bathroom had no outlets. Room was not what I selected. Over priced.
