I highly recommend this hotel because staff are helpful and friendly. Early check-in is very possible because they have the best housekeeping team. While we are having our breakfast, our room was nicely cleaned up so that when we return after breakfast, our room smelled great with lavender scent. What not to be missed is their gourmet dinner at a very good price and absolutely delicious. They also have free spa facilities: sauna, jacuzzi and steam bath for hotel guests’ usage. If the weather is not favourable these facilities definitely works wonder to help you chill and relax in the hotel. Remember to bring along your swim wear if you would love to have a dip after a good day out. Enjoy!

Located along side of the main street at Sankt Anton am Arlberg.
Very convenient to walk around the village and access to the lift, which runs up the mountain. You can enjoy there even in the summer time.

Sadly we were very disappointed as no one was at reception to check in at 1pm we had to find someone. The room was very hot with no air conditioning. The room charge was €168 for a single occupancy & when I included my wife who joined me they added €120. Other hotels offer greater value for money & don’t rely on an old reputation for being the hotel to be in!

The Alte Post was wonderful. Great staff, beautiful accommodation. The breakfast spread was delicious and the pool and sauna fantastic. Only a short walk from the slopes with a great ski room to leave gear in the evening. Highly recommend!

The first room they put me in had two twin beds next to each other - with a rift in between. However, it was early in the season and they upgraded me to a suite that had a king sized topper. They made it work :-)
I got to the hotel after the restaurants had closed, so the barkeep tried to find as many bar snacks as he could...very accommodating :-)

It's not easy to find a hotel for a long winter weekend in St Anton which is probably reflected in the price which was pretty eye-watering. The hotel is charming and traditional, slightly old fashioned but that's what you want, right? The staff are lovely with a sense of humour and the food is superb.

Lovely, clean hotel right in the center of St. Anton. The cable car/ski lifts are two minutes walk from the hotel, so one can roll out of bed and head right to the mountains for a hike (or ski). Staff was friendly and helpful and the pool/spa area are beautiful well-maintained.

We had a spacious suite in a quiet location, bed was comfortable, great bathroom with separate toilet, nice balcony to relax on, food in hotel was delicious, nice wellness and pool area and beyond all the service was great! Very helpful staff booked a day trip for us to Lake Constance on a day when the Sankt Anton weather was iffy.

When we eventually found how to reach the hotel by car ( you had to press a button for a bollard to go down in the road )our check in went smoothly and we were offered a welcome drink. Our room was large but the beds rather hard. We had a great buffet breakfast the first morning but after that we just ordered off the room service menu in the restaurant which wasn't so good. No one told us about the free Summer Card which luckily we read about in a leaflet from the Information Centre.
