Jaz in the City Vienna

Perfect spot to stay in Vienna if you want a local feel. Right by central metro lines to get around easily, and close to cool bars, cafes and shops in Neubau. The rooms were lovely and we enjoyed the gym, sauna and rooftop bar. We would absolutely stay here again if we returned to Vienna.

My group loved the rooms, the unusually style, the layout and mostly the excellent shower. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hotel is only a short walk to either a tram stop, underground station or bus stop but not too much of a walk into the main city centre. Breakfast was great, there were so many things to choose from and always pity of food available.

Amazing!! One of the prettiest hotel I ever stayed in and it’s good value. Clean and modern decorations and room is big and comfy. Would definitely recommend

Property is nice...rooms are nice...except the beds arw vwry high off the geound with sharp edges on the frame...hard to sleep with very noisy nightclub and the AC did not work so we had to open thw window...and that made the noise worse....plus side was staff was very friendly

Hotel has a fun concept with the record player in each room and free borrowing of records from the lobby. No checkout. You just take and return anytime. Lots of places to eat nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Perfect English spoken if you don’t speak German. My room and the hotel were clean and modern. The soundproofing of each room was great. I found it peaceful. I liked having a kettle for tea and there was a coffee maker too. The shower was excellent. I’m a shorty but it would definitely accommodate a tall person. The only odd thing was not finding a plug near the vanity mirror so I used the plug by the tea/coffee station. The plugs by the bed are also low to the ground so just make sure your charging cord is longer. I was a solo female traveller and found the area felt safe. There’s a lot going on in Vienna so there are usually people around going about their business. The street is not that loud, but still has some traffic adding to the feeling of safety. Great transit in Vienna although I walked to everywhere except Schönbrunn Palace which is quite far for a walk.

From the moment you arrive at the hotel you know you are in good hands. The reception staff are friendly and happy to have you arrive. The hotel is inspired by vinyl records, so don’t forget to grab your record choice before heading upstairs to sit back and listen to a classic. When you enter your room, you will think you have stepped into luxury A great open bathroom, comfortable bed, a swing seat and a record player. The gym and sauna are perfect to either start or finish your day. Please make the effort to walk the 2km to the city centre to take in the culture and architecture and of course the various bars. I would give this venue a perfect review but the only issue is that when you switch the lights off at night, the power also goes and non of my devices charged while I had one of the best sleeps. Breakfast was good as wel.

Leaving this hotel was hard because it was perfect in every way. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We fell in love with Vienna and walked the city daily but still wish we had more time to enjoy the amenities like the sauna at the hotel. The rooftop bar was so nice but do expect the pricing for drinks to be higher than anywhere else in the city. The rooms were spacious and we did yoga every morning since we had the space to in the rooms. The shower was phenomenal and the views immaculate. I would definitely come back to Vienna and my first choice of stay would be Jaz!

Excellent location, very walkable and safe. Hotel looks and make you feel really on the musical and jazz vibes.

This is a very good hotel and close to the city centre. Spacious and clean rooms, good facilities and a great concept. Breakfast was good too. The only little complaint I have is how one of the waiters in the rooftop bar was not so helpful when we told him about being entitled to a 20% discount. Moreover the aperol spritz tasted more like soda water. Pity because all the other staff were great.

The rooms are not clean. Very dusty and poor ventilation. Rooms needs to be vacuumed and cleaned every day to prevent this. Using eco as an excuse is not acceptable. Dust builds up and gets in the airways, especially when the heating is turned up. Toilets also don’t have good ventilation which is unhygienic.

Cool hotel in a great location. Decent fitness room and a great little sauna. The record player in the room (and records available to borrow) was a nice touch!

Upon arrival, we informed the property that we needed to cancel two out of the three nights. They assured us we would receive a refund, but now they are refusing to honor that commitment. It appears this hotel cannot be relied upon to uphold verbal agreements.

Absolutely fabulous hotel, staff lovely and cocktails on the roof a must. Only gripe was that foodwasnt available 2 of the 4 nights and the towels are useless they are so small we did ask for more but they were barely above a hand towel.

Was stunned by the hotel. Room was beautiful and bathroom was too. In an excellent location. Roof top bar was amazing, went every night. Couldn’t reccomend this hotel more
