We had the most fantastic stay at Hotel Pax. Our hosts were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. They were able to give us guidance on the local area and went over and above to ensure we got the most out of our visit. If you visit Diksmuide or anywhere nearby I recommend Hotel Pax.

Great location. Has been modernised since we last visited & looks good. Parking is an issue as you only have 2 hours by the hotel. Thankfully we stayed on a Sunday so could park all day

Complete dichotomy. Shocked that this modern style hotel did not have air-conditioning on hottest night of year. As noted in other reviews no manager was available.
In contrast, young staff were helpful and pleasant and an excellent breakfast. Just avoid if its going to be hot!

Advertised as having reception, bar and food but everything closed. NOTHING available at all not even reception. Had to call to be allowed in at all and then only to give the key. The hotel facilities are closed on a Sunday!!!

Why this hotel has 4 stars and such a high rating I do not know. Unless I have seen it not correctly. Anyway the disappointment was because of the loud noises on the street. Opposite the hotel is a restaurant with people eating and drinking outside. The hotel was okay, everything very average. Nothing special. Nice town Diksmuide.

The main issue was that the room didn't had air conditioning and with the current temperatures, my sleep was average. Also I came late and apparently I should have advised them in advance. I had to ring the bell and call to be able to check in.

we booked two rooms, one for my Brother and myself and one for me elderly parents
we liked the fact that is was nice and quite, The Staff are fantastic and helpful and the Young lady who organised us spoke better English than most English people manage
the rooms are lovely with a nice large bathroom a hot shower
complementary showed stuff
and the choice of breakfast was vast
the parking was easy, and the Hotel bar was fantastic
I will stay with you next time I visit belgium

Really good location and easy walking distance to the city Center.
The hotel is a good standard with nice bar and outside terrace and the staff is very friendly. The room was nice size but when I was there is was 29-30 degrees outside and the room did not have AC or a fan, so I had to keep the window open to breathe and the noise from the road next to the hotel made it a bit difficult to get a good nights sleep, but if they could fix this I would absolutely give them 4 stars.

The area is amazing! Room was big and comfortable. On floor 2 the Wi-Fi was almost non existent. No restaurant on site, so I don't know why it says "room service" was an option on the hotels.com website. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was truly amazing and friendly! Would definitely stay here again!

Hotel Pax was great service as HOTELS. COM had double booked us. The staff at Hotel Pax rallied round and found rooms for us in a competitors hotel. Hotels.com absolute c r a p! Won't be using them again.
