Anchorage Beach Resort

BED BUGS. I knew this wasn't 5 star accommodation, but it was dingier than I expected. Okay, I can put up with old, even a few stains, as long as it's clean. But on my last morning of 3, I awoke with 4 small bits in a row near my abdomen - a sure sign of bed bugs. Also zero amenities, just instant coffee if you boil the kettle in the office. One star is for the staff, who are extremely nice and doing their best, but the owner, a miserable man, is obviously just letting it fall apart. Should not be available on any reputable travel site. Expedia should not offer this hotel.

Staff were very kind. King bed in room 26 was EXTREMELY firm and pillows were huge & firm. I chose to purchase a pillow in town for the stay. A big storm came through and we had a leak in the roof that dripped between our pillows all night. We put a trash bag between us to keep from getting wet. Only allowed two towels at a time, no beach towels were provided. AC in room worked great. Views were gorgeous, beautiful location & we appreciate that they allowed us in the room early because of an early flight. We will not stay again but loved our time on the beautiful Caye Caulker.

Fantastic staff!

The first room on the second floor was terrible and then moved us to the ground level which was much better. Its a budget property so dont expect any extras. Danny who worked there was fabulous!

No food or drinks available.

Check-in was fast. Staff was very efficient and friendly. They had free coffee and water available to refill water bottles. The room was very clean and had everything you would need for a stay on the beach. The grounds were beautiful with the most amazing access to the water.

Rating this a 2 1/2 star hotel is reaching! The staff was friendly. The pillows were like rocks! I don't believe i ever received a fresh towel in my 4 nights stay. It just wasn't very nice, i couldn't wait to get to my next destination!

Older property. Could use some fresh paint in the rims but overall clean. Great budget friendly stay. Quiet, safe, farther from village center but walkable. Bike rentals available and has free kayak use during our stay. SLOWWWWW WIFI but aside from tv streaming at night we didn’t really need it. Super easy check in and friendly staff! Great views!!

pretty nice for the price

Experience was just okay, but didn't expect much for the cost. Provided one hand towel for two people.

Great location quiet to relaxing in but walkable to the main area, friendly staff.

The surrounding is peaceful faraway from the noise. And walking from this hotel by the seaside. It’s right in front of the so it’s breathtaking.

Everything was wonderful, the staff (manager on site) was super helpful. Offered different dinning options as well as tour options. We really enjoyed the snorkeling option he suggested as they offered pick-up & drop off from location as well as GoPro pics and lunch. The one one complaint was when someone from above broke the tub and our whole room was flooded. They couldn't do anything at the the 3am hour but as soon as morning came they quickly move us to another room. It literally sounded like it was raining in our room fom the water above.

Seggasum stink was severe. Host was....ok. Zero help with luggage and I definitely didnt like the way they handled the cockroaches. I wont be staying there again. Sorry for the poor review but the truth is the truth. You dont accuse guests you apologize. They wanted proof. I was going to give it yo thrm by waiting until I found anouther cockroach then I was going to make the host eat it. Instead I just lwdt a day warly and didnt care if I was refunded...which of course I wouldnt be. This was a waste of my time and money

Depot the manager was very helpful & was always available to offer advice. He guided us towards an excellent snorkelling tour & had many restaurant recommendations

Great views

Nice staff. One of my bags fell off the golf cart unnoticed and the people who live around there posted it on Facebook and the staff returned my bag to me. The office had water and juice for sale. There was a big bbq area and a few iguanas nearby. The pier was nice and I took a dip in the ocean. I’d stay there again.
