Lina Point Belize Overwater Resort

Enjoyed staying here so much. It was quiet away from the noise or the town but close enough we didn’t have to drive far to get anywhere.

The staff are friendly and kind. Bartender is top notch. Clover, waitress, is beyond sweet. The food and drinks are awesome. I can’t speak highly enough of this place.

• Transportation not disclosed as essential: While we understand golf carts are common in San Pedro, this was not clearly communicated as a practical need requirement. • Dec 31 No transportation available: there were no golf carts or taxis, effectively forcing us to remain at the property to find dinner. • Jan 1 no food nor breakfast and no way to leave: there was no food for breakfast or lunch on site, and the front desk had no cab contacts, so we had no way to leave the property. • Airport transfer unavailable: We were told there was no way to arrange transportation at 5:00 a.m. for our 6:30 a.m. flight. • Cleanliness concerns: We found a dirty glass in our room, raising hygiene concerns. • Room never cleaned or refreshed: No trash removal, towel change, bed service, or amenities replenished throughout the stay. Even with a “housekeeping by request” policy, basic cleanliness should be ensured over multiple nights. • No dinner service on Jan 2: Pre‑arrival info said the restaurant serves Tue–Sat, but dinner was canceled due to a resort event. Our only options were walking at night or paying a **USD $25 taxi** contrary to what was communicated. • Staff conduct on Dec 31: Some staff and management appeared to be under the influence while on duty, which felt unprofessional and concerning for guest safety. • Billing irregularities: After paying in full at check‑out on Jan 3, we were called to pay additional amounts, including charges dated Dec 26—before our arrival.

Everything was great from the moment i was picked up at the airport until the moment I left. I nean, Literally - everything. Its beautiful, unique, quiet, safe, interesting, ,secluded, but convenient to everything. The best thing about the place is the staff- I fell in love with all of them- the service was amazing. Its relaxed luxury without the stuffy, pretention of other upscale places. That is what Ialways look for when traveling, and it is surprisingly difficult to find. I cannot recommend this lovely place highly enough Judy Widener

Really cool room with private pool. Very spacious. Pool was very relaxing. Rick and his staff were very friendly and accommodating. Very safe and quiet location with security gate at the front. We enjoyed our stay and time in San Pedro!

The free breakfast was just fruit & toast, they did offer discount if you wanted to upgrade. The staff was amazing, the room was even more amazing!! I love the fact it comes with a water cooler w/5 gallon HUGE plus! Great location, right in the middle of everything.

Brittany is the best part of the resort. She wears multiple hats. Despite it all, she remains pleasant, kind, and courteous. The room was spacious and the view was great. I love being able to see the fish from the glass floor of my room.

This was quick trip this time but we decided to stay at Lina Point. All the Staff were really amazing and it was nice meeting the owner and his wife. When staying on the island I prefer to be just north of the bridge. Really enjoyed the location. Very quiet. We only had breakfast but it was amazing. If this is your first time or not great place to stay.

Second time staying on the property. Love that it is just out of town, so it is very quiet and easy to relax. Its still close enough to enjoy everything in town easily. Will stay again.

Excellent location, very peaceful and serene However, the actual units were sparse and a bit rundown. Also, it’s quite a ways away from anything so a car or a golf cart absolutely required, which is additional cost and bother, especially given the poor state of the roads. Better off, renting in town somewhere at or close to the beach

We enjoyed our stay. The staff were attentive and courteous. We enjoyed viewing the fish in the water off of our deck and by the dock. We could watch stingrays in the water by the pool deck. There are a good variety of restaurants in the area we enjoyed.

Lina Point is ideally located for short trips to most things you might want to do. The staff is wonderful and the Mayan Dinner was fun. We loved the quiet peaceful vibe there after long days adventuring. It was wonderful to come back there and relax. This was our first trip to Belize but we definitely would stay here again.

They sold me a room with pictures from a different room and said that I should’ve reviewed the description better. I was not accommodated nor refunded. Beautiful place but be sure to read description.
