The 1st room I was in had a damp smell..Room was clean but very run down.I upgraded the nect day and the suite was in better condtion.Front desk has a wonderful helpful female English speaket. Water was not hot...lukewarm at best. Food was ok. Price reasonable for hotel deficiencies

People are warm and the food is amazing. Kid friendly, pet friendly, people friendly.

É difícil listar todos os pontos negativos desse hotel, mas vamos lá: 1. Check in lento, burocrático e demorado. 2. Mudaram nosso quarto 3 vezes por nos colocarem em quarto twin quando reservamos double. 3. O ar condicionado não é um ar condicionado. É um sistema de refrigeração à água fria e não à gás. O ar é sempre quente é não é possível regular. 4. A infraestrutura do quarto é velha e cheira a mofo. 5. O hotel é remoto e difícil de chegar. 6. O staff é grosso e mal treinado, com exceção da recepcionista Claudinha, que se esforçou para nos dar um bom atendimento. 7. A piscina não é essa que se vê na foto. É uma piscina pequena que parece piscina infantil. Não comporta a quantidade de hóspedes, e olha que o hotel não estava cheio. 8. Só existe de fato uma piscina natural na praia, mas é pequena, cheia de pedra e não comporta mais de 10 pessoas. 9. A qualidade do cholchão não é boa e a coberta é super áspera e desconfortável. Foi um dos piores hotéis que nos hospedamos na vida e pagamos uma diária de quase 700 reais para isso. É ridículo ter de pagar o que pagamos para o retorno que tivemos. Pesquise bem antes de reservar este hotel porque existem opções bem melhores.

Eu recomendo. A equipe da recepção faz a diferença, são muito atenciosos. As refeições são de qualidade, quartos confortáveis, tudo limpo.

Friendly staff, helpful front desk and beautiful beach

The hotel is listed as a four star hotel, but my family and I really don't agree with that (and we had two rooms for us). The place where the hotel is located is quite, and safe, which is great specially when you are in a country like Brazil. The staff is very friendly, and the room is kept really clean. Breakfast is nice on the weekends, but during the week is just average. They don't have many options during weekdays, and some of the food items offered during weekend and weekdays are not prepared as well during the weekdays. We did not have lunch at the hotel, but we had dinner. The buffet that is offered is very expensive compared to other local restaurants, and the food is not that great. And one of the days that we ate there instead of offering a full buffet, they had salads, desserts, soup and pasta on the buffet, but if you want a main dish with sides they would prepare as ordered, but you could only order one protein (fish, beef or chicken) and two sides, and the price was still the same as if was a full buffet where you could eat as many sides and meat as you want. I guess they do that when they don't have as many guests, but I think is not ok. Also on that day the desserts offered where fewer and not as nice. At least they offer partial buffet options which are pasta salad, soup and dessert, or soup salad and dessert or only soup where you pay a little less. But compared to a full buffet is even less worth it.

Very nice hotel, excellent location, nice beach, excellent staff, good food in the restaurant for breakfast and lunch.

Located within a gated condominium complex, this hotel offers natural beauty and a tranquil beach for those seeking a respite from the hectic pace of city life. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you want more than one restaurant, you will need a car.

Stayed there for only 1 night. Friendly staff. Spoke english. Rooms clean and quiet. Mild smell of humidity as I entered the room.

So many great things to say about this hotel. The staff was super friendly and accomodating. I arrived from a long night flight way before check in time and all I wanted to do was take a shower and get some sleep. I asked if I could check in early, and they said yes. They have no idea how much I needed this rest. I also had a wonderful lunch and breakfast at this hotel. I also was able to leave my luggage after I checked out while I went sight seeing.

The hotel is somewhat secluded set within private grounds within the vicinity of a number if very expensive houses. It's boasts a modern gym and private beach; if you are looking for relaxation or a retreat from the hustle and bustle of work life, then this is the place. The staff were were excellent; look out for Ray in reception - he was very helpful. The only critisism is that the wifi is very poor in the rooms. I had to come down to the main reception area just to get a good reception.

The hotel is great but only if you plan to stay at the hotel. It is far away from everything that is touristic and where the life of the city is. If you are with a family and you just want to relax this is the perfect hotel for you but if you are with friends and you want to know the city during the day and go out at night, find a hotel somewhere else!

Out of all the hotel stays during my visit to Brazil for the World Cup, this was my favorite Hotel handsdown. The quality and comfort of the rooms was exceptional and in-line with what you can expect from any great US Hotel with sound customer service. Breakfast was equally great with a variety that ranged from your typical continental style breakfast offerings all the way to local indigenous foods. The staff were very polite and professional. Better yet, this was the only hotel that I stayed in while visiting Brazil where the double beds in the room were Queen sized. Most Brazilian Hotels are notorius for providing a bed that is no larger than a twin size bed. Icing on the cake, go to the private beach next to the hotel and watch the Sea Turtles in the morning. Peaceful and Serene indeed.

My visit was for four weeks. The main hotel staff speak English and they all are super nice and helpful. The other hotel staff, restaurant, bar, maids most do not speak English but are very patience and helpful. A lot of pointing and hand gestures and we understood each other just fine. I could not imagine staying anywhere else when in Salvador. Walking distance to the beach, good security. Food in restaurant was great, have the best gym I have been at for a hotel. Ask for a hammock for your room and sleep one day in it...wow. Just make sure you learn some simple phases in case you go to the stores or local vendors to purchase items.
