Paradiso Macaé Hotel

Sempre fico neste hotel. Quarto limpo, cama boa, chuveiro excelente. Senti falta do espelho articulado para maquiagem. Ar condicionado da acomodação um pouco barulhento. A piscina e o bar da piscina funcionam teoricamente até 22h, mas às 20h não havia ninguém para atender. Pedi bebida e sanduíche pelo interfone ao restaurante e demorou quase 1h para chegar. Café da manhã excelente, só senti falta de opções zero açúcar e iogurte desnatado.

This is the newest property that I have ever experienced in Macae. My guess is that it opened within the past 2-3 years. Everything works, nothing is worn out as can be experienced in some other top rated properties in the area. The place was spotless, comfortable and in a great location in front of the beach. The breakfast was very good and had a wide selection. Dinner was likewise very good. Usually there is a dinner buffet; however, apparently due to low occupancy, the advertised dinner buffet was not available on this particular Thursday night. I was assured that it would be available the following night. The pool area is well maintained with a beautiful oceanfront view. The pool water was clean and clear. My only negative comment concerns the bathroom amenities. It seemed out of place finding the same items that I would expect to encounter in a 2 star property at one of Macae's top ranked properties. They could at least provide a normal "hotel size" bar of soap, which is large enough to hold onto, instead of the tiny bars that are the current amenity.
