Excellent location 2 blocks feom copacabana. Now my favorite beach anywhere. RDJ isn't a perfect city but as long as you dont stray into where you shouldnt.go and do it is reasonably safe. The beaches were amazing and Hotel Canada was a great deal for the price. Not 5 star but it didnt lack any basic needs and cleanliness was aceptable. It was a great deal for the price. Shopping, dining beach all walking distance

All great! - for a budget hotel (not elegant but clean & everything working nice staff, good breakfast (included) & perfect location). Especially great if you can get for under $50 (for 1 person)

Great budget option! Clean, good air conditioning & hot water, good breakfast, nice staff, only 1 block up from center of Copa Beach!, surrounded by tons of shops & restaurants, & totally safe area. But note: rooms are very basic, so don't go looking for elegance. Again, great budget option (especially if you can get online for under $50 US). (Note: Ubers are very cheap, esp the motorcycle taxis to jump around; & don't miss nightly outdoor samba party at Pedra do Sal - about 20 mins away in Centro but worth it!)

Room was súper small and outdated. Ac worked ok but I had extreme problem of mosquitos. There was only a bar of soap and no shampoo. I had to get my card magnetized each day. This is tough being in the 12 floor. Internet was extremely terrible also. I tried ordering Ubers to places and would struggle to complete my work.
