Best Western Plus Montreal Downtown-Hotel Europa

Easy access to any amenity you need. Plenty of food and shopping options all around, walkable from the train station, subway and bus routes nearby. Across the street from Bell Centre. Express bus to YUL is also close by. Room had all the basic necessities. Will definitely return on future trips.

I checked in at 1 am, went to bed at 6 am, soon there after probably around 8 am, construction started unit above, or other unit close by, couldn't sleep couldn't rest, they were banging on walls, shame on expedia for allowing me to book this room

Shower pressure was very low and front desk was told 3 times and nothing was fixed with the pressure. Hotel had musty smell and small rooms with little comfortability

The staff was kind and is near everything however, when it came to the housekeeping cleaning after the first night, disaster, the bed was poorly made, mirror remained dirty, and paper on the floor, showing lack of cleaning, my corridor had such a terrible smell with dirty carpet, it had renovations going on, so it was not well maintained as it had guests in the area, disappointing.

It was located nicely. Everything was in walking distance. Rooms were clean and nice

Only one of 2 elevators was operating. We had to leave after 1 of 2 nights because of an injury. Could not get refund because was booked through Expedia. Had to eat the cost of 1 night.

Overall a decent room. A bit run down but everything worked so it was fine for me.

I liked the location from the Bell Centre.

The rooms are very tired. Floors are full of previous persons long hairs. An upgraded king bed room comes with the view of the hotel rooftop HVAC unit.

Overall good for basic stay, nothing fancy. Older property, rooms not private, can hear other people in their rooms. Ensure you are requesting street view otherwise you are looking at walls and the room is dark. The room on the 3rd floor that I was moved to, you are looking at a brick walls full of pigeon poop. My originally assigned room was on the 6th floor, however after checking in and we went up there, the AC was being replaced and the staff at front desk were not aware!. That room was bright and airy, did not exactly saw the view as we had to leave the room. I also realized after the first night that the room I reserved was Business king room and the room I was reassigned was a Standard small queen room, the 6th floor room was definitely larger and airy as mentioned. I did not bother to even talk to them about it as they already inconvenienced us by having us lug our luggage upstairs twice and didn’t even offer us any thing, so figured they would do nothing about it and also we were gone most of the day time. Otherwise it was great for the location, walking distance to a lot of places and 2 mins to St. Catherine street. There’s a restaurant -Bistro1242 ( I hope that’s the correct name) located in the Hotel the food there was great had dinner there once, there is also a Cora located in the hotel food was good there also. I probably would stay there again if I had a brighter, quieter room, as the price was not too bad and for the location.

Our family stayed for one night for the U.S. interview. It’s only a 5-minute walk to the U.S. Consulate.

Had vending machine but no way to obtain change.came straight from airport and therefore didn’t have anything for a low blood sugar

Property is located a minute away from St Catherine’s St…close to everything! Isaac at the front desk was an absolute sweetheart…going back again on our way home!
