DoubleTree by Hilton St Johns Harbourview

I arrived late to the St. John’s Doubletree. I was met by the most delightful receptionist named Liza, who couldn’t have been kinder or more accommodating. The place smelled like warm cookies and she handed me two, and then offered me two more in addition to two bottles of water. I felt like I was at Home! Wonderful people wonderful accommodations. It’s enough to make me wish I was Canadian. They are the best!

From the front desk staff, restaurant staff, and cleaning staff each and every encounter was pleasant, helpful and polite…great location and views of the harbour

I’ve stayed at this hotel a number of times, it’s always an excellent experience.

Really to bad that there is no breakfast buffet, besides that we realized our stay.

The view from the harbour view rooms was absolutely amazing! The place was clean..The staff were friendly and helpful. There were a lot of good places the early near the hotel. The restaurant in the hotel..I wasn't very fond of. I had breakfast there one day.. and was not impressed.. I had to wait close to 30 mins just to get toast and egg.. I ordered scrambled and got an omelette.. for almost 30 bucks ..it was not worth it..there is a cafe close by that servers cheaper food that tasted way better.. I don't know about the other food.. but I was not happy with what I had.. other than that this place was great..Highly recommend it.

The only thing missing was shampoo and handsoo at check in. Very clean, comfortable and a quiet. Great, walkable location

The manager and all of his staff were very helpful, pleasant, friendly people. They assisted with information about the area, best places to visit and great restaurant's.

The hotel was fine and the housekeeping staff were excellent. But the front desk staff are rude and have no customer service skills. I tried to get a late checkout and was given the runaround by three different front desk staff members who were rude and abrupt. I will never stay at that hotel again

Location and elevation gave a great harbor view!

The room was nice. The view was awesome.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The front desk staff were very courteous when we arrived and checked in. The room was very quaint and clean with a great view of the harbor. We would definitely rebook if we come back to St John’s.
