Executive Hotel Vancouver Airport

The room she gave me was not good, it was cold, it did not have a good view, it was in the parking lot

Good experience

Staff is very friendly and professional, but did not explain the parking and hotel entrance properly at check in. Very weord that they only have one entrance to the hotel thats far from parking having to walk all the way back to the entrance on the rain . Property has plenty of "exit only doors" my suggestion is install card reader on these doors so guests dont have to walk past 4 closed doors that are exit only after parking and having to walk back to the entrance. Property is obviously old and going through renovations, but while I was there there was plenty of work being done , pieces of the roof were falling off on the hallway and they just put a dont slip sign where the roof fell untill maintenance and HK came in next morning, pool was also closed due to maintenance. I own a hospitality management and consultation business and to be honest was disappointed and not worth the $ should have stayed at the Sheraton or BW for a few extra bucks.

Very friendly staff. Chill vibe. Clean and cosy room. Safe and convenient neighborhood.

Free airport transfer and close to the airport made it worth it. However the bed was not comfy and the rooms are barebones and older.

Great location, clean and quiet

I took the complimentary shuttle from the airport to this hotel. I was the only person on the shuttle with the driver at around 10pm. The driver decided to make conversation with me and asked me where I lived and where I was coming from. As I answered normally he then started telling me about a terrifying serial killer case and made me search up images of the man (who he had a striking resemblance to). I stopped answering at this point because I was tired and a bit frightened. As I was silent he then pointed out in a serious tone that the serial killer used to target women when they were alone. This freaked me out as I am a young woman and was on the shuttle alone with him. When I finally got to the hotel (thank god) I was shaking and incredibly scared. I told the front desk what had happened and they said they were sorry and that he didn’t mean it but they would pass it on to the manager. I started crying at the front desk because I was freaked out about what had just happened and felt unsafe. They put me in a room in a separate building but offered to try and find one in the main building. I said it was fine and went to my room, which had no functioning phone and a broken toilet that wouldn’t stop flushing all night. This was a frightening experience and although the front desk staff was very kind and gave me tissues when I was upset, no one offered to make up for the experience that I had just gone through in any way.

Nice property - check in was good - dinner at restaurant was overpriced and not very good. Service at restaurant was okay but felt rushed to finish and leave.

The courtesy shuttle from the airport was so convenient for a tired traveller. Check-in was quick. Room was a small suite which was a nice surprise. Walkable to stores. The only problem for me was the heavily scented bath gel which permeated the whole room.

Staff not helpful at all

The facilities are like having stove, microwave and kitchen wares are good , though in a bit old condition. Smells in the bathroom. We are not in the main wing, so maybe the main have better quality
