Wonderful attention to detail-such as laundry detergent for the washing machine, welcoming gifts in fridge-chocolate and breakfast oatmeal. We took a 3 week trip-this was the best accommodation! Our only regret is not meeting the proprietor. Thanks for the great stay.

After putting 8K miles on our Jeep, this was a breath of fresh air! We highly recommend this modern, clean, comfortable and quiet location. We were able to do our laundry in the room, which was so nice. They provided comfy bedding, clean, fresh towels and even stocked the fridge with snack and drinks! This is a family-owned business and we were fortunate to be greeted by Jim and had a nice send-off from Nona. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in Prince Rupert. :)

A great place for single night or long term stay. We've stayed twice now-summer and winter. Good quick heating. Parking on street. Not sure they have any rooms with a landline so bring your own phone. 24/7 service. Dishwasher and keurig coffee maker are a nice touch. A unique selection of freebies in the fridge( craft beer, oatmeal, juice, milk, yogurt, a chocolate). Decent enough bed.

I agree with all previous reviewers who rated this property excellent. James and Nona are lovely and really deliver good old-fashioned hospitality rarely experienced these days. We intend to return next season for a longer stay than the three-nighter this time.

The entire stay was great!! All the amenities from home were right at our fingertips, from keurig coffee too a local beer. It was a treat to have! The loft was a unique place to stay, it was like hiding in our own fort. It was sparkling clean and so quiet, it was hard to believe you were downtown. The staff went out of their way to make sure everything was just right. Our cleaning lady was exceptional, we enjoyed joking around with her in our stay. Definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to get away.

We arrived late, but found a nice welcoming letter with access information. I texted James to let him know we'd arrived and asked him to charge our card since it was so late. He was very accommodating. The room was very clean and comfortable, and since we had to be a the ferry terminal at 5:30am the next morning, we went right to bed. The next morning, I was horrified to find I'd left our cooler and food in the fridge. There wasn't much, but we were already in line for the ferry, so no way to go back. I texted James to see if he could make use of the items, but instead, be personally drove down to deliver it to me at the Ferry. I also found a nice local beer inside as a bonus. SO impressed - they really went above and beyond so this was a fantastic place to stay and I highly recommend them!

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at in Northern BC. All of BC for that matter! Because there are so few rooms, the staff really tend to every need. When I needed an extra mattress to accommodate a friend, it was promptly brought to my room with bedding at no extra charge. They really went the extra mile to make our stay extra special. Wishing this hotel wasn't only in Prince Rupert! Do not pass it by, you will not regret your stay here! So happy with our choice.
