This is a very interesting hotel to rate. The hotel is older, but appears to have been renovated. The rooms are fairly well taken care of and decently clean. Multiple towels were provided which was nice. The walls are pretty thin, and we could hear the neighbours, especially when the shower was used as the piping is fairly old. That said, the beds were extremely comfortable and we had a great sleep all nights. Breakfast was actually excellent, and the fact it is included in the price is phenomenal. Parking... parking is tight. Definitely check-in ASAP and bring a small car as the parkade is comically tight. If I was coming to Montreal again and was budget conscious I would definitely stay here as it overall provided passable comfort. If budget was a bit less of a concern I likely would opt for somewhere else.

I appreciate the Staff being ever-friendly at this hotel. My only complaint is for the hotel to specify their parking procedure beforehand to clients to avoid confusion on the busy streets of Downtown Montreal.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Roberval. Our room was immaculately clean. I was pleasantly surprised by this and really think housekeeping deserves a ton of credit. You can tell they care a lot to actually clean all the fine details like corners, in and around appliances, and under furniture; it would be so much easier for them to just ignore it.
The layout is more like a studio apartment than typical hotel room. Couch, balcony, and kitchenette were included in our room. Appliances and furniture were a bit dated, but all so clean that there is little to complain about.
Very good breakfast considering the small size of the hotel with good selection and freshness. Food stations can get crowded though.
Decent location, about 15 minutes walk to Old Montreal and only a 2 minute walk to the Metro. Me and my girlfriend both agreed we will be staying here next time we are in Montreal; overall, it was a great value for the money.

Would definitely stay again. Great location. Nothing fancy but just needed somewhere to sleep. Walking distance to a lot of shops and sites. Only issue was parking, very tight access, won’t fit a truck and was $20 a night. Found out half way through could have parked at the CHUM building for $11 per 24 hours.

No complaints. Got exactly what we asked for! Staff was very polite and helpful, hotel was a really nice walking distance from everything, the room had everything we needed and cleanliness was far from a problem. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back next time we visit. Very good price too. Thank you!

I traveled with my mon for 4days and the room we stayed was completely comfortable, quiet and clean. The breakfast has enough kind of food and drinks. I really like this hotel and if I come to Montreal again, will be staying this hotel again. Lastly, all the stuff is very nice and helpful for everyone. Thanks to them, we could have great days.

The hotel is one block away from the Berri-UQAM metro station and several blocks away from the bus station. Restaurants are also nearby on rue St Denis which is one block over. The room came with a small kitchenette which I did not use. Clean room and hotel. I will book again when I return.

The front desk staff wasn’t courteous and will not look at me when talking to me. He kept looking and addressed the other person who was with me even though I paid the deposit and for the parking. I asked for the parking lot direction and he again addressed the other person. He was totally unhelpful and not interested in helping.
Extremely challenging to park in the underground parking lot, not an easy place to get in and out.

This hotel’s 3-star rating on Expedia is misleading—it should be rated 1 or 2 stars due to unreliable management and poor room service. I requested regular cleaning when I checked in, reminded them on the third night, and filed a formal complaint on the fourth night. The room wasn’t cleaned until the fifth night, and even then, the bed sheets weren’t changed. I am still waiting for an apology. Additionally, the sink tap was loose, the toilet leaked, and the showerhead was so loose it sprayed water everywhere.
