Painted Boat Resort

Very clean and spacious 2 bedroom loft!!

Room was spotless relaxing with a fabulous view. The staff are friendly. Beds are very comfortable. Have stayed here twice and will come back again! Only downside is the insulation from above units isn’t great- feels like elephants walking above you.

We stayed at the property recently, it is Beautiful and well taken care of. I didnt expect the rules on cleaning up before leaving (i felt it was like an airbnb in that perspective). I agree with other guests, staying on the ground floor is noisy with neighbors on top. I would recommend it to others, as long as you adjust your expectations and know what to anticipate.

If you’re travelling Wednesday through Saturday, the restaurant on site is excellent The grasshopper pub is also good but is closed on Mondays But you have everything you need to cook your own meals in house it is a great accommodation, nice and quiet and relaxing Spa service was great

Villa was spacious, beautiful, clean and well-stocked with an amazing view. We really enjoyed our nature getaway with this as our home base.

We spent three nights at Painted Boat. The view from our two bedroom villa is spectacular. The suite is in top shape with modern decor and open kitchen. It is perfect for a relaxing vacation. We took a Princess Louisa Inlet and Jervis Inlet boat tour starting from Egmont which is thirty minutes away. We highly recommend this resort to anyone who wants either to lay back for a few days or use Madeira Park as a base to tour the Sunshine Coast, with kids or just twosome.

We had a great time there

Great hotel, beautiful location! We loved our evenings overlooking the marina, it was also great to have a grocery store IGA just around the corner from the hotel. Staff were all great, special recognition to the front desk agent Andrew, as he was very helpful and knowledgeable and went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. Our only complaint, though a significant one, is the absence of any kind of a/c solution. Sure, the resort does state that there is no a/c, just fans and natural breeze, but this was not nearly enough to keep our loft apartment cool during the day with only 70-75 degrees outside. We had to close all curtains and run fans nonstop. At night the apartment also remained much warmer than we would have liked. With the temperatures in mid-80s few days after we left, we cannot imagine how the guests staying there after us were able to keep the apartment cool. All in all, it’s a wonderful resort, but, given the overall warming weather trends, there needs to be a solution for air conditioning.
