It was an interesting place. We had a two bedroom apartment which was lovely and very handy. I would recommend this place without a problem.

Large unit with basic amenities. Comfortable bed and pillows. Bath towels are new. Strongly recommend for overnight or longer stay. Close to grocery store, gas station, Tim Horton’s and McDonald’s.

This was the first time we stayed here we go to Kirkland every year for the Races and I must say I was very impressed with first of all the price and it was super clean. The gentleman that checked us in was very polite he walked through the room with us and made sure everything was ok asked if we needed everything extra Would most definitely stay again

I had a very good stay at the Prospector’s Inn in Kirkland Lake. I originally booked a one bedroom, so I was pleasantly surprised when I was given a huge three bedroom suite at no extra charge. It was far more space than I needed and offered excellent value. The staff were fantastic. Even though they were off site when I arrived, they immediately came back and the check-in process was easy, they were friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to help. As a motorcyclist, I really appreciated that they let me park my bike right outside my window under the overhang. It was a thoughtful gesture that gave me extra peace of mind. The suite was clean and comfortable. The only minor issue was a lingering smell that reminded me of cooking oil or French fries. It wasn’t a major concern, and I suspect it may have been related to the third room to repair a roof leak prior to my stay. Overall, I had a good experience. The unexpected upgrade, the clean accommodations, and the outstanding customer service made this an easy place to recommend.

The only thing saving this from 1 or zero stars is the fact that they’re trying. Reno’s are underway, but obvious shortcuts have been taken and it reflects poorly on the quality of work. If they’ll let me upload a video I’ll show the infestation of ants in my room. Couldn’t even sit in the couch without getting covered in ants… unacceptable. The bed I think is literally from the 1950s, I had springs poking my entire body all night. The only thing I went there to do is sleep and between the anxiety from the ants and that nightmare they call a bed I hardly slept at all. I would’ve been better off sleeping in my car.

Clean quiet full kitchen too bad we were just sleeping. The seating to watch tv could use an upgrade. The mattress was like sleeping on a cloud. Never had a better nights sleep.

Excellent customer service. Went above and beyond. Stove was broke so he loaned us his personal air fryer. Room was very clean and comfortable. No complaints at all. Will go back again.
