What I love the best is the convenient location and wonderful walkable and bicycle friendly campus environment. The old dorm style room are dated but comfortable. The common bathrooms are very clean and there are sufficient showers and even bath tub choices so it was not an issue at all for me. There are no A/C units but the night generally cool to the mid 70's °F in Quebec city in August so my stay was very confortable. The windows have screens but are a little hard to open. Ask the staff at the reception and they will answer all of your questions

It was impossible to sleep at this place. We had to spend the night in our car. The room was extremely poorly ventilated: the windows barely opened, and there was no fan or ventilation system. The temperature was around 40 °C.
The entire building seemed to lack proper ventilation, including the corridors, which were also very hot.

Well, I guess he can’t complain about the price, but the reality of it is.. The beds are cots like what you lay on when you’re at summer camp. Spiderwebs in the room. Spider was literally crawling on the bed. My dad woke up with bites on his arms.
No bathroom in the room..
So you gotta walk down the hallway to go to the bathroom.
Make sure you bring your own pillow and I’d recommend bringing a blanket because they give you some thin little bedsheet sheet.
We chose this place because we were only gonna be actually sleeping for five hours and then back on the road and it was the cheapest option. But even at $100 per room I definitely expected us to have at least a toilet in the room..
If you’re just going to a place to sleep and don’t care about any basic amenities, then this is the spot for you.

Très surprenant pour un séjour dans une résidence étudiante. Outre les toilettes à l'extérieur de la chambre, ya rien à dire c'était parfait pour mon budget. Ne vous attendez pas à un matelas 5 étoiles par contre mais c'était confortable.

Unbearable stay – Zero air conditioning or fans, terrible customer service
Do not stay here unless you enjoy sleeping in a sauna.
I booked a two-night stay and it was an absolute nightmare. There was no air conditioning and not even a simple fan in the room. It was boiling hot, making it virtually impossible to sleep.
When I went to reception to ask for an AC unit or at least a basic table fan, all I received was a dismissive "sorry" with zero attempt to resolve the issue or make the room livable.
To make matters worse, Expedia's customer service was equally useless. When I reached out to them, the representative simply said they couldn't do anything either. Air conditioning or a fan in hot weather is a basic necessity, not a luxury. A platform like Expedia should not even be listing a property that fails to provide fundamental amenities, and management clearly does not care about guest comfort.
Sufferings through two nights in a boiling room with zero help from staff or customer service is completely unacceptable. Avoid this place at all costs.

Since it's a dormitory type of accommodation there is a lot of space for parking ( pay 5$ for 24h parking ) , The microwave is in close and barricade location that you cannot be use, if planning to stay during summer better bring your own fan because its very hot no air conditioning unit and no fan available. Kinda loud during night because of the doors banging.

Bathrooms are shared and dependinv on the room can be quite far down the hall.
I called the assistance line to report an issue with bathroom. It didnt get resolved. The person only spoke French.
