The staff are very friendly. The front desk staff was very efficient and organized. They explained everything in detail and answered questions about the area. The location is wonderful with a private beach. The hotel even provides beach towels. The room was very comfortable. The bed was fantastic. There is very clear instructions on how to work the tv, air conditioning and the door lock. They use a code for the door which is perfect so you don’t need to carry a key or card to the beach. The hotel recycles everything which is another positive. The only downside to my stay was some of the guests were loud and partied very late. I would recommend this hotel for families or solo travellers.

Very nice beach area!!! The rooms definitley could use some major tlc it is a old building so thats to be expected. The managers are great and attentive hopefully one day in the future we will be back!

My second time staying here and it’s been a great experience both times. Clean, quiet room and walking distance to just about everything including a grocery store and two pubs. I would recommend this hotel

Room and property is in rough condition. No ice machine on property. Patio to room was covered in spider webs and bird poop on railing. Bathroom is super tiny and almost no water pressure for the shower.

Property in poor shape. Little assistance for problems. Coffee maker didn't come with compatible filters and made a mess but no coffee. TV did not work but manager showed a complicated work around. Office hours too limited. Location was amazing though.

Best location, on the lake, awesome staff!
Lots of dining / entertaining options within walking distance for both adults and kids.
The room is loaded with a separate bedroom with twin beds and a sofa bed so lots of flexibility. Full kitchen (no microwave:(), huge fridge, cable TV.
The only little drawback is that it smelt strong like oldish-cannabis-smoky weird smell and the AC doesn’t go to the bedroom so it is really hot. You can open the window which gives a noce breeze, but then it gets noisy with the birds around and the early risers in the morning.
However, the staff being so friendly and the family vibe resort make it great.
We would definitely go back!

Cable didn't work, on tv…. Poor reception. No hair dryer. No phone to the office. If you needed clean linens, you had to take the soiled ones to the office & replace them yourself.. no place to hang your close.

Location was great, and nice walking paths along the lake.. It was clean inside but outside was untidy. Bed was comfortable, and kitchen had all the essentials and everything worked. The cupboards had dishes, cutlery, coffee pot, kettle, toaster and all the basic pots and pans that we needed for a meal. All in all for an older motel, it had been renovated and well looked after.

The outside of the hotel was a little sketchy looking to me with steep stairs that were very hard to use with my newly broken toe. The room was really nice on the inside and the beds were average. I slept decently for a hotel bed overall. The beach was excellent; my 9 year old son and I enjoyed the family friendly shallower water and the enclosed swimming area and the decent sized beach. The view from our room was relaxing and stunning. Picture perfect view that made up for any other flaws. We enjoyed the waterfront deck for hanging out and eating dinner. Overall the hotel was lacking but the location was priceless.
