What a view. Always wonderful when you can see the ocean from your bed. The food was delicious and thoughtfully prepared with touches like tomato coral and delicious sauces. We tried elk tartare and it was delicious.
Couple areas of concern included: being out of many menu items, the fridge in our room was noisy and they struggled with the thin the lounge on our second night so we were unable to watch the hockey game.
Overall we had a fantastic, relaxing stay. Just appreciate the hotel for what it is now and do not compare it to the former era

We were delighted to see that Sooke Harbour House had reopened. The current owners are working very hard to provide top service to their clientel. The location is superb, nice walking, beautiful scenery and comfortable accommodation. Most importantly all the staff are friendly and welcoming. We look forward to enjoying another stay.

We had dined at the old Sooke Harbour House quite a few times a few years back thus we have been waiting for it to re-open. This time we stayed for one night during the week and had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. We really enjoyed the food (especially the Scallops/Risotto dish and the Mont Blanc dessert). We will go back again!
