Great location, courteous staff and a great vibe.

Very clean room. Staff was super nice. Rooms were very small, but liked the chips & nonalcoholic drinks offered each night. The cars in parking lot echo to rooms and the city is noisy but if you know that going in it’s a cute, kitschy motel.

The Burrard is a small, simple hotel. It has a convenient location in downtown Vancouver. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast. The information about the availability of continental breakfast on Expedia's website is false and needs to be updated. When I asked about breakfast during my stay at the hotel, the front desk representative said they didn't offer breakfast.

Great staff

Front end staff was very nice gave me an extra room key when I left mine in the suite by accident and resolved a power issue that affected the units on my floor

Spotless

Overall a nice hotel in terms of cleanliness, service and location. Family friendly but their interior design choice is a bit mature and questionable for a kids. Would be nice if they could provide microwave and toaster in each room as well. We liked the hotel otherwise.

Convenient location

Clean rooms, cool retro vibe and great price! Has a mid-century motor-city feel and the inner courtyard looked pretty. My only critique is the sink in the bathroom is too small but over all a great stay.

It was nice the staff were also accommodating.

no complaints about facility.but staff needs education on socail skills. i arrived early in BC (2:30pm they tried to accomodate me and upgraded my room but the room was not ready at that time- which was OK coz i had an appointment to go to. Upon returning the room was still not ready and i told the man in front desk the room was not ready, he was NOTvery friendly at all and responded "WHO SAID IT IS NOT READY? etc etc and instead of getting more info he was coming on very rude-it was to a point that i told him to check the room himself and I am the one telling him that the room is NOT ready! i noticed the second person there was the lady who checked us in initially and informed her that the room was not ready and we will be back later anyway and she went ahead and gave us another room- eventually The man DID apologize for his behaviour and i was willing to just let it go and give the benefit of doubt that it was a language / communication barrier. But this morning on our way to breakfast , there was this old scruffy looking man entering the hotel and the lady at the front desk just raised her voice and said "WHERE ARE YOU GOING?" the man responded - i am i room 324-- obviously she presumed he was not a guest hotel. It is disappointing to see this kind of attitude and behaviour. we should treat each other as a HUMAN BEING regardless of how they are dressed.

Breakfast was not included even though Expedia indicated it was. Good coffee shop on main floor. Room was very noisy as it directly faced Burrard Street & St.Paul's Hospital's ER. Constant sirens. Also very stuffy as I couldn't leave windows open due to traffic noise. Unlikely I will stay here again even though location was very central. Was not offered any Expedia VIP upgrades by staff.

Great room in a fabulous location

Clean, friendly, great location

The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. There was a little bit of grit on the floor from people who don't remove their shoes when entering (which the cleaning staff must have missed); otherwise, it was perfect and had lots of nearby resraurants for meals, snacks and drinks.
