We enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. Especially appreciated being able to do laundry and the location was very convenient for exploring.

The owners Rob and Brenda were delightful and very helpful-suggesting restaurants, making a reservation, etc. The place was very comfortable with a lovely deck and garden. Great location for restaurants and near the water. Prefer this place to the generic hotel I have to move to as part of a tour group!

We were in the basement spot. Because a Keurig coffee machine was provided, I looked for pods . There were none nor any milk or cream for coffee. Not sure about sugar, as I don’t use that. Bathroom had left over hair on floor, from last clients I guess, and a white towel with a dark brown stain. Bed is very soft lumpy. Hostess was pleasant when asked, but not a natural at welcoming people. Location was fabulous for visiting top tourist sites.

Very accommodating owner. Our stay needed to be reduced by one night because if last minute ferry reschedule The owner was kind to refund us for one night even after deadline for change/cancellation was paaaed

A lovely historic home that has been renovated with its original charm in mind. Hosts Brenda and Robert were most welcoming and gave us lots of tips and recommendations for maximizing enjoyment of our stay in St. John’s. 👍👍

We stayed in two different rooms and a suite over four nights. All were beautiful with comfortable beds. The host was very friendly and provided great advice on things to do, directions, and best places to eat. The continental breakfast was fresh and had a great variety of food options.

Only issue is our room on the top floor was quite warm. The fan was too tall to draw the cool air from outside. But great place overall

Fabulous patio and garden.

Beware this place charges you an extra 3% charge to pay with a credit card I was not told this, and it was not in the fine print when I booked. I also wasn't told this when my Credit card was charged. This place is honestly like going to a Michelin Star Restaurant and being served food you can get at your local diner. Don't get me wrong on 1st appearance this place seems amazing, but when you get to the finer points this place is rough around the edges. 1st they double booked us, so they out us in a different room than we originally booked, ok whatever but this is a constant problem from what I hear and happened to other people at the property during our 3 night stay as well. The bathroom was not cleaned properly upon check in and when I brought it up with the female owner she apologized and cleaned it and said it slipped her mind. After she left there still was hair in the tub/shower. Later on she gave me her number and said if you need anything text me, the following day I texted asking for more toilet paper as we ran out, to no reply and yes I verified it was her number. I finally took some from an upstairs bathroom. The mishmash of things around made it feel like there was no thought put into anything but just whatever was on hand to put somewhere, like the different lightbulbs in the bedside lights, the inside and outside shower curtain being completely different sizes and obviously from the dollar store. Finally the breakfast was subpar. The yard is beautiful.

This is a beautiful, comfortable home with easy access to all you might want to see in St.John's. The hosts are not on site, but are easily reached, responsive, and ready to go the extra mile to help guests enjoy their stay.
