Unique property on the beach, great staff and amenities.

I loved being right on the beach.

Great location and amazing facilities, my family and I explored nearby Summerville Beach (direct across the road) as well as the restaurant with amazing ocean front views. The movie theatre was a big plus for my kids.

way overpriced , overpriced food for average quality, my phone kept ringing from the main switchboard when someone called in to speak to the restaurant. you have to walk on the highway to get from the room to the restaurant in the dark. it was raining and someone could easily get run over by a car.

Location was beautiful. Quiet. Beautiful view. Resto was only open for dinner, but great food. Terrific place to ring in the new year!

Awesome accommodation ! The lighting at the Grill restaurant, Quarter Deck, was way way too bright,,,not a great ambience for dinner at 7pm. Although the meal was out of this world !

Parking was easy and staff was courteous

We stayed in Villa #1 for the first time, it is the last unit in the main beachfront complex (right next to the restaurant) and as far as we could tell it is one of only two smaller/studio type villas. There was a storage room in-between us and the next villa so staff from the restaurant were routinely coming/going. We didn’t mind this as all were friendly and the interactions offered some entertainment but others may not like this. This also meant that you have no attached neighbouring room which is a positive I’d say and there were no noise issues with respect to the restaurant that we encountered, just a little less view to your left. We’ve been to Quarterdeck multiple times now and each time I say it’s a bit pricy but then we keep going back so we must thinks it’s worth it. I think a token offer for resort guests at the restaurant would perhaps make me feel like I’m winning, say 5% to 10% off your food bill if you charge the purchase to a room. The location is beautiful though, it’s a fun drive down from Halifax and the staff are great and that is what keeps us coming back. Could you spend less and go somewhere else? Definitely. But it’s a fun spot and it’s nice to have the beach, restaurant and other resort amenities all right there. Park the car and get to relaxing.

The room was perfect, wish i would have known about rooms with hot tubs and the indoor pool. The restaurant is gorgeous but the prices were high for what you get.

amazing beach and views from room! besides the one restaurant on site/ you need to drive to other restaurants. Bring a beach chair and towels as the resort does not offer or sell!

The hotel presents itself as a beachfront property when, in fact, only a small number of rooms are “on” the beach. Also, the door lock was ripped of the door so all we had was the cheap handle lock. Felt a little nervous about that.

For the loft, the shower water was less than lukewarm. For cold nights, the heat cannot be turned on till Sep 15 due to heat pump programming.

Amazing property with great views! This resort has thought of everything. Comfortable beds and pillows, great views, very clean, excellent amenities including indoor and outdoor pool, movie theatre and more. Walk to Summerville Beach ranked number 2 in Nova Scotia. The Grill was fabulous 5 out of 5. We had 4 meals there all were exceptional and couldn’t have been better. Also with amazing views as it overhangs the beach. Will definitely be back to this lovely property.

The staff was friendly and cookie service was lovely.

I cannot in good faith give less than 5 stars because even small issues such as our door lock not latching were addressed immediately by the most kind and attentive staff. We had an excellent stay, the rooms were great, the beds were comfy, the sound of the ocean was perfect. There is constructing happening to expand the resort, but other than an occasional backup beeping, it didn’t impede our stay and we barely noticed. The club house is a great space for rainy days, the outdoor pool was clean and temperature was warm.

It was OK. Our fridge kept us up all night last night because it kept beeping. When we checked in, they told us that it kept beeping. Just throw it out the door, but I thought they were kidding. The room had a good vibe, but the walls are thin.
