Hotel los Españoles Plus

Stayed for one night between transport to Argentina. Staff were great, room was big, bed was comfy. Bathroom a little cozy, but fine. Great location for getting around Providencia.

Had some really great sauna sessions! Have to book in the hot tub and sauna and steam room but wasn't a problem. They change out the water in the hot tub and clean the sauna and steam before each use, so 1 hour ahead is minimum, but they preheat as well so when you step in it's hot. Steam room temperature was too low for us, so we used the Sauna which was first class and hot as..Hot tub was really good as well and rooftop views, was great at sunset and if you wish can order drinks...There is a lap pool that is always open, cold and you need goggles as chlorine is high, but got some good laps in, small though about 15-18 mtres, but workable. Area of hotel is right off the freeway but noise not too bad with windows shut and AC on, but we don't like AC and slept fine with windows open. Staff very friendly and accommodating. We didn't eat breakfast as we like to swim and sauna in the AM, but it looked good and reasonably priced. Big shopping centre 5 minute easy walk with tons of options for eating, also around the area there are tons of options as well within walking distance. Providencia is one of the better neighborhoods and family friendly, overall felt very secure even when we had a night out at the hard rock in the shoppin centre and walked back after midnight. Metro station close by as well, and we used it daily. You can save some bucks by taking metro to bus station and then bus to Valpairaiso - but better to take the bus to Vina Del mar IMO, nicer area. Overall great

Everything is close to the hotel

There’s nothing around the property. If you want to eat anything, you have to walk quite a bit to find restaurants. Although it’s not far, it’s kind of in the middle of nowhere.

Great service. Nice spot

Place was a little run down. Closet store was a mile walk. They should have had a little mini market on site. Carpets were dirty, residential area so dogs were barking a lot. Overpriced bar with frozen food. Paid for breakfast every morning but only had coffee. I guess they didn’t understand us or it didn’t matter. View was nice on the top of the hotel. Didn’t use the pool or spa, too cold.

Nice cozy and welcoming, near costanera shopping center. Breakfast good, restaurant basic. Rooms are a bit vintage but really comfortable.

A fine hotel with a complete breakfast and a pool . In a safe neighborhood

Another very good staying experience with Hotel Los Espanoles. Very good location, within 10 mins walking to the closest subway station. Very helpful staff, making our stay a very pleasant one, though we don’t speak Spanish. The area is good too. We can walk to the main tourist stop easily. The cable to the top of the mountain is worth the visit.

Very satisfying stay, including check-in, cleanliness, staff friendly, security and overall experience. They respond to your request promptly. They made your stay easy and comfortable. There are quite a lot good restaurants around as this hotel locates 10mins walk to the tallest building in South America. The only thing might be a problem to some people is the traffic noice from the main road outside at night. I’m fine as I am a faster sleeper. Thanks for the hospitality. Will stay again.

Quite and walkable

This hotel is seems like an oasis itself. It is really comfortable, friendly, clean, albeit in a tired deco. Rooms are large and comfortable. Everything runs well or immediately fixed. Easy to park, easy to relax, superb breakfast. A 10min. Walk to Costanera Center and a short taxi ride to the Financial District.

I always stay there and always pleasant.

The hotel has old carpet and old furniture, it is located in a noisy location just by a very busy motorway so it is noisy at all times. Due to its architecture the rooms are dark, at least mine. Staff friendly but when departing I was going to take a Uber and the receptionist convinced me that I should take a service they have due to problems with Uber at the airport. I did and paid 5.000 Chilean p more than the Uber for a tiny car without a taxi license, so I had to go on the front and be dropped at the parking, exactly what Ubers do to avoid problems...

service has been excellent! I stayed in a room with weak internet connection, I asked once to improve but not very helpful, but actually it still worked. The second day they installed a router in my room that's amazing!! BUT, the shampoo sucks.

Great location

the room was recently renovated and spacious. the breakfast and room service were tasty. the only complaint i had was its neighborhood. although it was close to the costanera mall and the restaurant district, there are many little streets to cross to get there. overall, im satisfied!

Great hotel with spacious rooms, clean and comfortable. My only issue was it took a while to find where the heater was and about a day to warm up the room. I would stay there again
