It’s a new hotel about 10 minutes ride from the airport, friendly staff and nice room, perfect stay for overnight transfer.

It is the best choice near Changshui airport if you have to catch up an early flight

We stayed here twice in transit. The property is clean and neat. The service was good. The airport shuttle requires a reservation from the airport and it is inconvenient if you are just transiting, particularly if you don’t have a China phone number. The breakfast was amazing and for transits that have a long morning we’d definitely recommend this hotel. If you just need a bed and nothing else it may not be the most convenient.

We booked this place because we had an early flight to catch the next day. Although the staff at the hotel were polite and did the usual welcome, we felt as if they were rather cold as compared to the Hilton Garden Inn in Kunming. It came across as run off the mill kind of service. Our room was also not stocked properly. The toothbrush set and vanity set was missing. Had to request for it. The kettle was not clean as there was a layer of oil film after the water was boiled. If not for its reputation as an international brand and proximity to the airport, we would not be booking the place as it really lacked the warmth and friendliness.

Six kilometers (4 miles) from the airport. Good for catching early flights. The hotel looks almost brand new. Everything is in mint condition and super clean. The area is kind of boring just like most airport areas

My stay was overall excellent and only had one small suggestion. I really wish the receptionists who are helping guests with check in could smile a little and could give some warm greetings.

Very happy with our stay at Double Tree. Rooms were very clean and staff were professional. One of our best meals in Yunnan was actually the club sandwich from their room service 👍. There is also free transfer to and from the hotel. All in all a very enjoyable stay and will highly recommend to others.

The hotel gives me a great experience in China. all employees are friendly and make an effort to solve the problems. Also, the place is immaculate and tidy, and I can rest comfortably. However, It would be more perfect if the hotel improved its English skills. After all, even though it was a business trip, my first China trip was successful. Thank you.

I arrived late and left early since I had 7 hours between flights, so didn't see much of the surrounding area, but my room was very nice.
