Not as expected

Not at all what you would come to expect from a W. They should rebrand to something else because it’s fine for a whatever hotel but nowhere near good enough for a W. Checkin took forever, no idea why, there wasn’t any line. They didn’t even explain where the bar/pool/anything was. You have to take 2 elevators to the rooms which is super annoying. We had booked a reso at the bar a month out and when we got to the bar they had no idea who we were. We didn’t even bother with the pool/spa area because we heard it wasn’t great. Takes forever to get to anything from this location in bogota. Wouldn’t recommend, lots of better options

NO POOL AT THIS PROPERTY Despite the Expedia listing noting a “Swimming Pool” - we were disappointed to learn they do not have one. They have a Whirlpool branded hot tub (listed as a separate amenity on the Expedia page). “Indoor Pool” was also listed under the Family Friendly heading of the Expedia listing. As most parents know, hot tubs are not appropriate for children, especially young ones. We chose the hotel because we thought they had a pool. When we travel, we spend part of our day playing in the pool. Kids love a swimming pool! In the hopes of disappointing another family expecting a swimming pool, I flagged to the property directly, Mariott Bonvoy and Expedia to encourage them to update their respective listings. Despite the misinformation, the property was excellent. The rooms spacious and clean, the gym was one of the best I’ve ever seen and the breakfast we paid extra for was excellent. A perfect way to start the day. A special should put to the Leidy, the Spa Manager who was great at addressing our concern.

Great neighborhood

From US here. The brunch that goes with the suites is literally 12/10. So many fresh options for healthy eaters. Room service is great & they made accommodations for us outside our hours for our dry cleaning when there was a crazy rain one night.
