The room was great and you have an incredible staff. Everyone was very nice. We enjoyed the restaurants and the service and food were excellent.

The room exceeded my expectations! The staff have been very friendly and welcoming, the amenities in the room are terrific and the many hummingbirds just outside the room make the stay very memorable.

Staff are extremely nice and accommodating. The room was clean and the bathtub with the waterfall: AMAZING! The views and the sound of nature was incredible!!!

Excellent room and service

The Peace Lodge is a tranquil escape. There are not very many rooms, so the grounds are quiet. You get the opportunity to walk through the animal sanctuary on the grounds. The resort dog Rusty was very friendly and a welcome sight. The menus were on the expensive side and some more affordable options would be welcome, but the quality of the food was excellent.

This is a very clean and nice property. The level of service and amenities does not match the price. We have stayed at places in Costa Rica that are nicer and better attention to detail but for much less money. You would think that breakfast should be included at the very minimum. Bring your own water to drink they charge $4.50 for a 20 ounce bottle. We would recommend the La Paz Waterfall Gardens as a day trip but find other lodging nearby if you are price conscious. Also, there are lots of steps no matter what part of the property you are going to. If you are not able to do up and down stairways very well then do not stay here. Good experience overall. Too pricey.

A MUST SEE. NO true need to leave the property....everything is right there & top knotch. Things to do, food, spa, sightseeing....just WOW!

This place is just beautiful. It’s like everything Costa Rica has to offer in one place. The staff and hotel manager are top notch. Highly recommend you bring your hiking shoes and enjoy the entire property. You will not be disappointed. This is a must see hotel.

Our stay at Peace Lodge was amazing. The service, to the delicious restaurants, to the night walk, and all of the animal sightings and viewings were truly amazing. Thank you to Michael and Andres for making this trip so memorable!

We stayed here for only two nights for my birthday, as we wanted to splurge a bit. This is a gorgeous, very well manicured 5-star resort. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a higher level room for my birthday, so that front desk staff knew how to make an impression. The room was crazy amazing fabulous. Look at their website pics as they are very accurate. Expedia includes two tours when booking, so we got a fabulous night frog tour, and a half-day personalized tour of their wildlife sanctuary - Guide MICHAEL WAS AWESOME. We also participated in the butterfly release, which we will remember forever! The downside was the dinner restaurant (only one). The menu was super Americanized, and they were out of the one local fish! The first night took forever to get served, and they brought our appetizer, salad, and main dish all at once. The second night was my birthday, and although the server offered me a free dessert for my birthday, when they brought it, there was no candle, no offer to sing, no extra decoration on the plate, and no wishing me a happy birthday. I'm a little surprised by this as it was contrary to the front desk staff. Hey, Lee Banks, please train your restaurant staff to make a bigger deal of of birthdays. Also, put some more Costa Rican items on the menu! The food was VERY good for both breakfast (not included) and dinner, and beautifully plated. If you don't mind the price, don't miss this beautiful property, and ask for Michael as your guide!

The place is magical. It was true Costa Rica with five waterfalls and the rescued animals. I didn’t want to leave. Will be back for sure.

The property is gorgeous and lush with beautiful views and so much to do! There are nature trails, waterfalls, and it is one of the loveliest places to stay in Costa Rica.

Peace Lodge is one of the premier resorts in the world that blends nature and comfort perfectly. There's an abundance of things to do right out your front door.

Staff was super friendly and attentive. Rusty the dog was so sweet. Property is great for children with the pool and animals, but there are a lot of stairs when walking and exploring. I’m not sure it would work for everyone. We got in late after the restaurant was closed, so they had sandwiches and fruit prepared in our room without us even asking. It was the little touches for us. We loved it here! Highly recommend.
