The hotel floor and room were recently renovated and I believe it is the case for the entire property. The grounds are beautiful and steps from amazing beaches! Breakfast is extensive though coffee is mediocre if you are a coffee fanatic like myself. There’s no conditioner or lotion in the room so best to have some with you. There’s a small fridge with a free bottle of water. There’s a water kettle and instant coffee and tea bags. I highly recommend this hotel!

Hotel was super clean with lovely,friendly staff. The pool area and surrounding gardens had many sunbeds so no need to rush to put your towel out! The breakfast was fabulous! So much choice with hot options being hot! Overall an excellent hotel and we would definitely stay again.

Architecture and design of the pool and patios is excellent, providing a number of options for drinks and food. You can stay inside the hotel property all day.

Very nice hotel, modern has tablet in room controls all electrics. If you have Netflix you can sign in. The pool and sea area are amazing lots of space don’t need to fight for sun beds.

Lovely surroundings , pretty gardens and lots to do. but the service is really poor. Front desk check in took ages and no one showed us anything. Resturant ataff had no idea what to do, got many things wrong. jad to wait ages to pay after asking time and time again. this happened everywhere. such a shame if the staff were trained it would be a perfect place to take your family.

I find myself puzzled about the numerous positive reviews for this hotel, especially since we visited towards the end of the season in late October. The hotel itself is of a fair standard, but I was disappointed to find that it lacks adequate facilities for children. The kids' club was rundown and offered very few activities. Similarly, the gym and spa were in poor condition, and the staff seemed unfriendly. The playground was extremely small, and the evening entertainment was quite disappointing. Most notably, the food was the worst we've ever experienced at a resort. Additionally, the hotel is situated in a remote area, and we were surprised to discover that we had to pay for sun loungers at the beach, even though we were on an all-inclusive package. Overall, it was a very poor experience, and I would not consider returning.

Best hotel in Protaras!

On checking in the people at the reception were so professional and courteous. The hotel is very beautiful and clean and the welcome from the receptionist was very welcoming and warm. Because it was late and we missed dinner she told us they had a sandwich for us if we go to the bar they would sort us out. We went to the bar and a young girl asked us to go through to the other side . A young waiter asked us what we wanted and behold a sandwich with fries was given to us. After we finished the young girl came in with the same . A sandwich for both of us. That was the start of a really bad time myself and my wife had with the bar staff. Every time through the holiday we ordered drinks . They got the order wrong ? I had to send wine back because it was like a viniger wine . 3 times in one order they got it wrong. So the 3 drinks they got wrong was wasted and poured away?. (Is that profits wasted)?every time my wife and I entered the bar after that we were made to feel so uncomfortable. On the last day early in the morning we heard shouting down below near the pool , there was a young Indian girl there in tears as her (what we thought was her supervisor ) was screaming at her and waving her arms at her. This was 7 in the morning. The young Indian cleaner was in tears.when we thought it was over , she turned and had another go at her. I was ready to go down and throw her in the pool to calm her down , ( my wife stopped me ) The hotel itself is beautiful , clean. But the bar

Our second time staying at the Cavo Maris and can’t fault it! Rooms are lovely, modern, airy and clean, staff are all friendly and really helpful, food options are amazing, pool area is clean - 10/10! We’ll be back next year!!

Great stay! Would definitely come back again

The hotel is on a very nice location for the beach. Some staff where nice and others not so friendly. Food options where good but what let’s it the most down was the house keeping. The draws had dust and hair inside which I cleaned with a wipe. Many times our bed was straightened never fully made. On one of the days I had to ask the housekeeper to come back and clean my bathroom sink, tap and mirror because it was dirty. There was a black mark on the side of the basin which I left there to see if they actually clean the inside and it was left for days, in the end I wiped it myself. When staying in a four star hotel you expect not to have to do the cleaning.

A brilliant hotel for families and couples. Not too big, not too small. Great facilities which are modern and well maintained. The staff are welcoming and professional, making your stay feel extra special. The hotel offers an extensive range of Food and beverages options which cater for most and are delicious and well priced. The rooms are wonderful which are clean and tasteful with all the mod cons. I will definitely recommend Cavo Maria as the the perfect hotel for all. For sure, I will return on my next visit to Cyprus.

Nice rooms, comfy beds, pillows are far too big. Great shower. Decent view. Hotel breakfast was good. Other food was average at best. No room service which was a shock at a 4 star and inconvenient with a young child. There was a great independent beach tavern where we went for many meals. The pool doesn’t open until 10am which was very difficult with a child eager to swim each morning. The beach was great but a bit pebbly when you try to get in the water. Ideally bring water shoes especially for little ones. Staff were professional but not warm and friendly as you tend to find elsewhere in Cyprus. Hotel was spotlessly clean. Overall a good selection of facilities and restaurants but quality lets it down. A few tweaks would make this place outstanding. Id stay again but mainly for the beach and room.

Hotel was lovely. Room (exec suite) was well appointed and in great condition - ideal for a family of 4. The location of the hotel was amazing in that it was next to a lovely beach. We didn't really leave other than a wander into Protoras once but we were happy lounging around the pool. We didn't go for the ultra all inclusive option but the standard one was fine. Drinks inluded in the package were also fine. Overall a great hotel, room, and week away!!!
