The hotel has lots of character and has retained its mid-twentieth century charm. The staff were unfailingly helpful and pleasant. Our room was large, comfortable and air conditioned, and the bathroom had been modernised and was good.

Let me first say that I had no expectations because I was simply in Egypt for the sights and not so much the people or the hospitality. Both Maged and Ahmed, who work the front desk, far exceeded anything I could have imagined. Any question or concern I had was promptly dealt with and answered. I wanted for nothing. For that, both the Lotus Hotel and its staff have my eternal thanks. The rooms are a bit outdated, sure, but that adds to the charm. When I go back to Egypt, which I will, I will definitely be staying at the Lotus. 5/5

Old building, but the location is so strategic. Near the museum, many malls, souvenir shops, food, etc. 180 EGP by Uber to the airport. Good service and food, secure also. Cheap and recommended for travelers. Thankfully.
