Best Western Premier Knowsley Suites Hotel & Spa

We had a really lovely stay at the Best Western Premier Knowsley Suites Hotel & Spa when we went to Liverpool for the weekend. The staff in the restaurant were extremely helpful with my gluten intolerant son and went out of their way to help us with options.

Location is good Facilities are great but old and needs upgrade especially the bathrooms Lighting in execitive room is not good

Went to attend the grand national along with most of the hotels guest very very short staffed the ones that were in tried so hard but fell well short , management non existent ,restaurant far to small to accommodate its room arrived at 6pm couldn’t book a table the first night so booked for the second night arrive at 8pm to again short staffed to 10 mins before a drinks order or food order taken the 30 mins after that poor waitress had to explain that they had ran out of most of the core components to an already very basic menus , overly inflated prices for this weekend and really didn’t deliver suit a shame best western reputation being put at risk

Bit disappointed. Been here before and last time really good. This time, staff not as friendly, didnt serve breakfast until 8 and we had to leave before then (so no breakfast) also appeared to be understaffed. One of the busiest Liverpool weekends of the year and were only doing one evening sitting in the restaurant due to understaffing. Not much good to say to be honest considering the amount paid :(

Had a terrible experience. From the moment I stepped into my room (Room 212), it was clear that cleanliness and hygiene were not a priority. The room was covered in dust, surfaces were sticky, and the heater vents were clogged with dust and debris. The towels had not been changed after the previous guest and still had visible toothpaste marks. To make matters worse, there were crisp crumbs on the sofa, the food menu was stuck together with old food stains, and the bathroom was filthy—shaving hairs near the toilet, a dirty floor with multiple hairs, and a mirror splattered with toothpaste marks. Given the state of the room, I didn’t feel comfortable using the spa facilities, as I had lost all confidence in the hotel's hygiene standards. I was so disgusted that I checked out early and am relieved I didn’t have to stay longer. This was by far one of the worst hotel stays I have ever experienced. I will not be returning and strongly advise others to stay elsewhere.

The hotel was not very clean. The TV was broken d not repaired. The pool had been over chlorinated and so could not be used. Other guests used breakfast as an opportunity to create a packed lunch leaving insufficient food and options for breakfast

Very far from city centre , children were allowed in the steam room and saunas , homeless people are put there till the council can find them something

Staff members were extremely helpful booking in was so easy even got an early check in. Margie in the restaurant very accommodating and the young man serving on the bar nothing too much trouble. Very clean my only downside not keen on hotel being on an industrial estate

Lovely clean hotel, pool, sauna, steam room & jacuzzi clean. Staff was very good & friendly. Breakfast was very good

Absolutely Disgusting and Unsafe Sty My family and I recently endured a stay at this establishment that was nothing short of appalling and, frankly, dangerous. From the moment we entered our room, it was clear that basic hygiene and maintenance standards were completely disregarded. The bathroom was the first alarming sight. It was blatantly obvious that it had not been cleaned after the previous guests. We were met with a toilet and bathroom area that were dirty, with the floor and surrounding toilet area clearly stained with urine and what appeared to be dried blood. This was immediately disturbing and unacceptable. The problems didn't end there. During the night, we discovered that the bedroom window was faulty, failing to lock properly and leaving a significant gap between the window and the frame. This resulted in not only a freezing cold room due to the severe draft, but also a sleepless night plagued by constant and intrusive car noise from the nearby motorway. The most alarming discovery, however, came as we were preparing to check out. I cut myself on a small shard of glass while walking through the room. Upon closer inspection, I found the entire floor was littered with glass shards. This explained, in part, the dried blood we had witnessed upon arriving, as it seems highly likely another guest had suffered the same fate. This is utterly unacceptable! To think, my baby had been playing in that same room the night before, completely unaware of the lurking danger.

I love scousers because of their warmth and friendliness but the service here - apart from the reception - was abysmal. If breakfast is supposed to be served until 9.30am you shouldn’t be made to feel like a criminal when you greet the staff with a friendly ‘good morning’ to be met with a cold response, looking at their watches and offering no welcome greeting in return. Just appalling when you consider how much working people like us spend in these places.

The hotel is run down. The pool was open but jacuzzi was not. They are renting rooms though the government to homeless people (I met someone who was outside the front of hotel drinking a beer and smoking and he told me that he was homeless and there were 83 other homeless people living there). Also, the door handles in the room are all broken, including the lock for the bathroom. One of the two windows in the bedroom was broken as well. They serve no food from 9:30am until noon. I would not recommend anyone staying there.

What a disappointment this hotel was, when I booked I registered my card as due to plans we knew we would need to make use of the 24hrs room service this was unavailable when we arrived even though advertised and there was no phone in the room. Our room was dirty with a stain on the side of the bath and the bedroom roof above the bed. On top of the wardrobe was filthy and had rubbish thrown up there and the bathroom floor was also dirty with earrings from the previous guests. Beside the bed was an old sink that had been boarded over but you could clearly see the waste pipes left under the counter. The swimming pool was a disappointment with the hot tubs and sauna not in use and the changing rooms smelling of urine. When we went for breakfast the next morning it was awful there were no clean plates or cups and the food was almost empty even though we were well within the time frame. I’m very surprised this is a 4 star hotel as every where we looked there was dirt and mess present and that includes the rest of the hotel not just our room. Must not take much to get 4 stars these days! would not use this hotel again.

Absolutely spot-on accommodation for a very reasonable price. The large rooms with separate lounge area, pool area and dinner at the hotel were all fantastic. Will definitely stay here again if looking for accommodation away from the city centre.

Staff were lovely and friendly. Attentive. Helpful. Accommodating. Rooms clean but Property needs some attention. Leaking tap and toilet in bathroom. Kettle didn't switch off. Not enough cups for 3 people. Not enough pillows. Only plug near mirror when using hairdryer not useable by hairdryer as bedside table glued to the wall making the plug inaccessible. Shower in spa freezing. Spa hairdryer not working. Room was comfortable and spacious and clean. hotel was quiet (it was new years eve) disappointed restaurant not open and spa not open on new years day. Car parking was free and plentiful. Would be useful to have an ev vehicle charger put in for customer use. Lampshades in bedroom need replacing. Carpet was clean and room smelt nice. More tea coffee and milk would have been nice .

The staff were warm, friendly and helpful during our one night stay. Whilst the facilities were a little dated, everything was in excellent working order and the pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi were a welcome addition to our stay. The breakfast was tasty, with plenty of options. We were in town for a LFC match and it was an ideal location for us.
